Valdi Cleaning Service

This cleaning company is ridiculously bad. Most positive reviews posted here are fake and seem to…read morebe by members of the same company(Chris/Valerie). Me and my wife both are working software professionals and with a baby and had to shift to a new place. Therefore we decided to book this cleaning company ('Valdi cleaning services', Also called 'Cleaning services/End of Tenancy Clean' on FB) for end of tenancy cleaning. On phone they talked as if everything would be extremely clean and we should be relaxed, but I realised the horror later on. We had moved out to our new place therefore the property to be cleaned was empty without any furniture so it was additionally easier for the cleaning company to clean. On the day of cleaning I reached property before my work, once the cleaner arrived I gave her the keys and left for work. The cleaner called in about 5 hours time that the work was completed. I reached the property because I had to reach my new place as well so had a quick glance at the work but found things wrong. Watching closely found there were spider-webs as well in some places, when I pointed these things out, the cleaner started arguing and removed the web by her hands and said now its clean. I spotted markings on the kitchen floor, the cleaner said you had not kept the property clean enough and those marks are now permanent and won't go and started shouting claiming that I did't want to pay her and that's why I was finding mistakes. I decided to call her boss and she connected me to Chris who said that the cleaning would've been fine and they know what agents look at and the deposit should be fine to be returned back. Since it was evening time and I wanted to reach my new place as well, I paid the money to the cleaner(which I later realised was really silly of me) and myself and the cleaner both left. I headed to the letting agency where I handed the keys of the property and went for my home. I received the invoice of payment from Valerie on email that I forwarded to the agent. The letting agency carried out inspection next day and emailed me they were going to deduct £250 from deposit for cleaning charges, although I had provided the invoice of professional cleaning. The agent had noted that blinds were not clean, lamp shades were not clean, gap between kitchen surface had food remains and was not clean, kitchen floor had stains, window dressing had spots, toilet bath tub had spots. There were some spider webs too in parts of the property. The letting agent was a reasonable person who told that the property is not yet 'let agreed' so offered me to take keys to visit the property and contact the cleaning company to correct things in order to get full deposit back. I called up the cleaning company and Valerie was on phone, she said cleaning was all fine and that she had seen the pictures of 'before' and 'after' and said they will not be doing any corrections and hung up on me. I reminded her that I myself too had found spider webs as well post her cleaning, but she hung phone on me. I dialled her again to say that this is not professional attitude but she was too unprofessional to pick my phone from then on. Since it was a weekend, me and my wife decided to ourselves goto property and clean it else we were going to lose our deposit. We found that the agent was indeed right in his notings. We then using a basic bleach that we bought from a nearby convenience store cleaned and the marks on kitchen floor had gone completely after applying slight pressure while rubbing, the lamp shades, wondow dressing, bath tub all got cleaned easily which were not cleaned by Valerie and co (Valdi). Please see pictures of cleaning post Valerie and co. cleaning and comparison with when we cleaned things ourselves. The point to note here is we were not cleaning professionals and not used to this kind of work, still could clean these things pretty easily, that suggests the bad quality of Valdi - Valerie and Co. AVOID THIS!

Oven cleaning. 2 hours £80 Mum is very old and makes an…read moreoily mess cooking in the oven. Think: put item on flat oven tray, one without sides. Cover with cooking oil. Put in oven. Heat up oven. Wait for viscosity of oil to lower and drip into base of oven. Remove food. Repeat over and over. Phone me to ask why oily smoke pours out of oven each time she uses it... We have moved mum onto mainly microwaving food. In 30 years time, this wil be me. Anyway, 18 months ago mum bought this retirement flat. We got premiumclean.co.uk to clean flat, carpet & oven. They were brill. Sadly the location was too far for an oven clean only, so they recced Valdi for the job. I read Abhishek's review which sucked for him. But coz of the personal recommendations from a company I'd already used, I went ahead. Phone booking & email followup was easy. Valentina turned up on time, cleaned the oven, left it spotless and tidied up the area afterwards. All good. I was surprised the job took two hours, but she was so thorough. I was in the other room on the net, enjoying the break from mum who was in the kitchenette/lounge the whole time. I continually heard cleaning noises combined with mum making small talk with Valentina. We paid £80 as agreed. Valentina didn't have a card machine on her so we paid cash. All very smooth and highly recommended. Sadly Yelp is only showing my Name as Generic N. My full name is Generic Name! A while ago I joined an MX-5 forum. Rather than use a random name, I called myself Generic Name. Later an apologetic Admin for the site contacted me to say that their system had gone wrong and auto generated my name as Generic Name. I said that I didn't mind, and that he could keep me listed as Generic Name on the forum, but for their records my real (made up) name is Emma. When I buy stuff off Amazon, I call myself: Dear customer. This avoids propagating my primary name across the net. Never use your Primary name. Never use your legit Date of Birth. Be creative. And read any book by DavidThorne. Google: "Overdue Account - 27B/6"
