This car wash is THE BEST in Beaufort State of the art, absolutely best wash you will get for your money. All aspects and features of the wash, wax and dry functions are always working 100%. They always have a fresh and clean supply of towels and spray cleaner available for your use and you can even get your mats washed good here. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. I think the managers name is Josh He makes sure customers are satisfied and will even re-do your wash if you're not. Manager is a great asset to this business' success. He knows what true customer service is (an oddity now days) If you love keeping your car clean THIS IS the place to bring it to. Purchasing the $39 monthly UNLIMITED will save you even more money (thank me later) I will surely recommend Tidal Wave Car Wash to family and friends read more

Mixed review: The wash itself was pretty good for a drive thru, but these guys will pretend to give you a one month special deal without saying you're going to get a recurring charge of $29.97 a month until you find that little surprise in your account and dispute it. Pay cash if you must use these guys! read more

We've been coming to this car wash since 2023, and honestly, it just keeps getting better. We recently met the new owner/operator, Rex, and he was fantastic! We had a billing issue, and Rex personally went above and beyond to resolve it quickly and professionally. Since Rex took over a couple of years ago, the improvements have been noticeable. The vacuums work great now, the landscaping looks sharp, and the whole place feels well cared for. The attendants are always friendly and helpful, which makes every visit easy and pleasant. We use this location at least once a week, and it feels good knowing we're supporting a local business that's run so well. Rex clearly takes pride in what he's doing, and it shows. If you want a car wash that's reliable, clean, and run by someone who truly cares, this is the place. Highly recommend! read more

the crackhead looking skinny man decides to blame me for my wheels not being correct when entering the carwash bay. he kept signaling me to come then looked down at my wheel and noticed it wasn't aligned correctly. i've never had this issue before with any other employee. arguing with a customer, wow!! such great customer service skills. you're supposed to guide the driver into the bay area as if i can see my freakin' wheels!!! not one time did you even signal me to turn my wheels but blame me for your stupidity when you noticed they were not aligned correctly!! then you say "common sense isn't common" of course it isn't, not with a teenage minded adult working at a carwash with 0 customer service skills and can't perform your job correctly other than blaming a customer for your stupidity! i'm sure your manager will keep you there because it's ok to argue with customers even though you're wrong and priviledged! (if he's who i talked to, he didn't seem genuine as he talked to me. seems that like-minded people are a thing to place in your business nowadays. a canceled membership will be the best route as you don't take customer service seriously.) you had a hit of something though boy and i hope you seek help to get it out your system! and by the way, if my wheels don't check out ok, you can expect to pay for them!!!! read more

noticed my left tail light was broken and fender of my truck slightly dentred which was not there yesterday, but right after a car wash....can't prove it so went to auto zone across the street and he told me people come by all the time to replace parts ripped from their cars....my replacement for new tail light cover....80.00 bucks....plan on cancelling today as this si a chop shop read more

The workers attitudes are very inconsistent. Once you get in front of the area where you pull in and put the car in neutral, half the time the employees tell you pull up but half the time they don't and they just look at you like you're stupid and act like why didn't you didn't pull forward. But then when there aren't any cars and they appear to be ready but aren't doing anything, so you decide to pull forward, they yell at you for pulling forward even though they were too lazy to motion otherwise or do anything. They have a scrub brush and pressure washer to get the base dirt of the front and back windows, half the people actually look like they're trying to do something and the other half hardly do half the windshield and don't even bother with the back window. I've had a $30/month membership for 8 months now and I've decided it's not worth dealing with bad attitudes and rude/lazy people anymore so I'm cancelling it. It's not worth the money. They did just have a renovation and the vacuum area looks nice but that's the best part about the whole place. I'd have to go through the car wash probably 4 times in a row to really clean my car. Maybe not if they would actually use the pressure washer and brush they hold. read more

Cam,Khlik, and Travis all worked together to do great job cleaning three months of sun baked pollen off my Buick so my son had a vehicle to drive while his was being repaired. Give em all a raise! Mark. read more

Service is not very good. Sometimes they brush all the way around the car, sometimes half. Car doesn't get that clean

We were thrilled when this car wash opened near our home, (Well, not really we, more like he, my husband). Anyway, from day one we were subscribers and my husband washed his precious Ford 3500 truck every other day, more if an opportunity presented itself. We had been going here religiously for years. Suddenly and without warning, my partner's jovial visit to the car wash, turned into a ridiculous and unprofessional scenario. When he pulled up for his daily wash, he was prohibited from going through. Bewildered my husband asked why - the manager then began to complain that it was trucks like his that have damaged the mechanisms of the car wash. He wasn't being nice about it either. It was like an ambush, complete with mean comments and unsubstantiated allegations against my husband and his truck. The manager even threw out a couple of F bombs to make his point. Who does that??? Dumbfounded and pissed, my husband left. And no, we will never ever take a vehicle through there again . read more

Good experience, the manager was really kind and helped me though my first car wash. The price was decent for the work.

Went in for a single car wash in April and realized they signed us up for a monthly subscription without our permission. Did not realize for many months and when I contacted them, only gave a partial refund. Car wash itself was average but no better than a gas station car wash but a much higher price. I would avoid. read more

If I could give a zero star I would. Their machine broke mid wash. My car was never rinsed. I went to complain they made me go back in. That is when all the problems started. There was a hole at the end of the rail that stopped the rail and the brushes started to beat my car at the same spot over and over creating two large dents and forcing my gas cap hinge the wrong way where it is now loose. . When I brought up to the manager, he refused to hear me out. I used to love this place but the new management has clearly changed and obviously the customer does not count for anything. Never will set foot there again until customer service and professionalism and accountability comes back. Would love to talk to lady who was in front of me and had same issue read more

This is probably the best value per month that i have found for having my vehicle washed. I use this car wash about 15 days out of the month, and with all the traveling that I do, it's definitely worth the money. I like the fact that they have workers that scrub your car before you even get into the car wash. The vacuums are always working and are very strong. They have spray bottles and towels to wipe the inside of your car down with as well. read more

Best car was in the area. Prices are good for what is included. Self serve Interior cleaning center available which is included in price. Customer service is great. Membership is optional and very flexible. Front and rear bumpers still need a bit of hand cleaning after car wash, therefore i give it 4 stars. Over all definitely recommend. read more

I was referred here by a family friend. When I arrived to the Beaufort/Lady's Island car wash, the attendant was very friendly and upbeat when I pulled up (I chose the $20 option.) The other car wash attendants did a good job of doing a quick outside wash of my car before I went into the automatic washer. I was very happy with the service (and the use of the free vacuums and self service interior cleaning area and supplies!) I also was especially thankful to the service attendant Josh who helped me when I had some issues with my car. I greatly appreciated his kindness and thorough services available at this car wash! My older car looks so much better and I will be back! Well worth it and thanks so much! read more

Been with this location since the first day they opened. Previously happy with the quality, cleanliness and the standards of the service. Today; I cancelled our account. First, for the complete lack of attention to detail with our vehicle. A basic right side window wash, no rear window or grill wash or tailgate prewash. They tried to remove the antenna, which, since day one, never had to be removed because it breaks the plastic piece in the fender well when they do, and has never in two years been an issue previously. While riding through the wash; side brushes, top brushes, windshield and hood buffer were inop. After leaving, noticed no tire shine was applied. When I returned; I was verbally assaulted by a boy named Ashton who claimed he was the "owner". After delving a bit deeper into the conversation; he was actually just an employee masquerading as a manager, who then stated "if I was going to be confrontational, he was going to walk away" which he did, so then I asked them to cancel our two car account. Stating again, that he was the "owner" and that anything that breaks comes out of his pocket. No towels or cleaners available in the bays. Trash overflowing and debris scattered throughout the vacuum bays. We, as a community, are completely and totally dissatisfied and disappointed with the quality of the service; and caution others to be aware that it is not the same level of service or quality that we have come to expect from Tidal Wash. If you think we are the only ones complaining; please check neighborhood watch and other reviews. We are not the only ones that are beyond disappointed. read more

my son bought me a membership to this car wash. After going through the wash my car was sticky and had a residue on it spoke to the manager. he said it just needed to be wiped down after he could see it wasn't working he states it's a paint problem. Then he proceeded to tell me I'm yelling at him which is gaslighting. I told him that if he wasn't lying it wouldn't seem as if I was yelling. He didn't fix the problem nor refund my money. Very unprofessional and not veteran friendly. read more

One of the best Car washes in the area! The price is very reasonable. The vacuums are way better than many I use as far as the suction your able to pick up more dirt. Highly Recommend. read more

Excellent service. Reasonable prices. Quick and attentive service. Vacuum area super easy, plenty of clean towels, separate sprays for glass or for other areas. Going back as much as I can. read more

Great people, great machine. The vacuum and interior area is covered. A very well run business.

best car wash in beaufort ... in this day and age you have to finish washing/drying your own car at almost any "full service" car wash you go to anyway(since the staff don't care about the quality of their work)... so might as well do it yourself from the get go ...and do it right ...this place is very clean, modern, great vacuums ,friendly staff ...clean micro fiber towels...their car wash system does a amazing job cleaning vehicles ...best part...it's very inexpensive compared to the other "full service " car wash in beaufort (custom clean car wash)that to say the least is a waste of money read more

Incredible car wash. I don't think I'll ever hand wash my truck again. I joined the monthly club, and I'm glad I did. Your vehicle looks brand new when you come out the other end of the wash. They also provide vacuums and towels. It's the best I've ever seen. read more

The vacuum service is worth and cost of the car wash. The staff keeps the flow moving .

I went there to shine my car up before traveling. My driver side is scratched up. I just got my car and now it looks bad because of machines that no one checks to see if they are operable. read more

BEWARE!!!! The right side curb, on the left lane, after the gate is an aluminum wheel killer. While you are directed to pull straight ahead and turn right to line up with the car wash, the curb continues to go straight ahead. If you are not careful and begin to slightly turn right too early, the curb will catch your rear right wheel and damage it. The curb needs to be shaved. It is marked black from tire rubber and the concrete is gouged from impact with wheels. Discussions with management resulted in them blaming the rub on BAD DRIVERS! It is the only curb area where you will find this condition. Apparently, management subscribes to the philosophy that "the customer is always wrong". Be careful. Aluminum wheel repair is expensive! read more
