I hired him to attach some reclaimed boards to my kitchen island to give the room a beachy feel. His price was more than fair, especially after seeing how precisely and methodically he works, making sure all the mitered edges were perfect, removing and re-attaching the baseboard and outlets, etc. David has an excellent design sense - and had some great suggestions (such as varying the width of the boards) which improved the project immensely. David is a really nice guy who you feel comfortable having in your home for 5 hours. I highly recommend David and literally am trying to think of another project he can do, since THIS one improved our house so much, and at such a reasonable cost. We have small kids so keeping them away from marsh was paramount and Kirkland understood the importance of that. I had no idea how many stainless steel parts went into these crazy modern decks....luckily they did. The stainless cabling and hardware is an exact match to what was already present, and the ipe looks great. I waited a few months to write the review to make sure the gate didn't sag or anything....3 months later it still swings and self latches with barely a touch. We also had Kirkland do some other refinishing work on exterior doors and other similar projects....everything was done professionally and they made sure we were satisfied. Customer for life.

This company was an absolute joy to work with. The owner of the company (Dario), his foreman (Jorge), and his carpenters (Mateaus & Manchin) all demonstrated a work ethic that is almost impossible to find in modern times. The quality of the work performed by Mateaus & Manchin) was superb, and they were understanding and responsive to our requests throughout the entire process. The foreman (Jorge) was here daily, overseeing the work while it was being performed. He also made numerous trips to the lumber store to pick up any materials that the workers needed, so they would not have to stop work. After the project was finished, the owner and foreman made a final inspection of the work that was performed and corrected a couple minor oversights (that I hadn't even noticed). When the project was done, Jorge came by and picked up the left-over materials and returned them to the lumber store. Dario assured us he would provide us with a check for those unused materials. Should I need any carpentry work in the future, I will not hesitate to use Pascoal. I only hope I will be able to use the same skilled workers that excelled in completing our project.
