The automatic doors were too sensitive when it was a bank. I'd round the corner, fairly far from the entrance, and the doors would open for me. Nooo! This post office location is closed on weekends. It was nice walking by the main entrance this evening without the doors opening up. It's street parking. I normally don't have difficulty finding a spot. However, if you can't find anything, you can park where the condos are just north of this Canada Post. There are marked visitor spots. I looked through the glass like the curious person that I am. If you are renting a mailbox, you have access to it at all hours. There are many boxes and sizes, depending on your needs. There are parcel boxes that require a key to access a box. There's also a mailbox that built into the wall. Current hours of operation are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. It's like it's still a bank! It's closed on statutory holidays. It's Victoria Day tomorrow, so there's no postal services here, for instance. It's a nice addition to Markham to have a standalone Canada Post. Most of the time, you have one within either a Shoppers Drug Mart or something different, like a gift shop at Warden and Highway 7. I dig it this new Canada Post. I can't wait to check it out when it's open on a weekday. (156)

The couple that own this postal outlet are so incredibly friendly. They will package your box and…read moretape it up for free- where other outlets force you to purchase duct tape to tape up your own box. I once took a box in with the return slip to the seller and even though this couple realized my parcel needed to be shipped by Purolator, not Canada Post (because of the return label the seller provided) they took the same and loving meticulous care in taping up the package and taping on the return slip, even though they weren't going to make any money off me. This outlet truly holds customer care central to them and I sometime drive out of my way just to take my parcels to them. Thank you.

Okay....so I've been coming to this postal outlet for about 7 years and the original owners were so…read morenice and efficient and friendly. HOWEVER! In the last year or so the business was sold and the new owners are terrible. Where to start? Front desk girls who have complete conversations in Cantonese in front of waiting customers, overcharging for services when other postal outlets charged less for the same service. On one occasion my daughter brought a parcel slip in and was told 3 days in a row that the pkg wasn't there. Went back on the 4th day and someone else told her that the pkg was sent back to England because no one bothered to come and pick it up. Then more recently I brought a parcel slip in and was told the pkg wasn't there and the customer service person didn't even scan the slip or go to the back to look. On our 3rd visit we got the pkg. And when I told my story at work, a co-worker who lives in the area said she has had the same experience. So sad that these new owners get the benefit of the previous owners' reviews.

The best time to come imho is early in the morning. Closing is 5:45pm weekdays and the lineups could get long. Drop offs are most convenient as you do not have to wait at all. There is a staff who doesn't work as fast as the others so I always pray and hope I don't get him... Wish the price would go down a bit. I have quit sending things to my bff overseas as I don't want to pay $30+ for a small parcel.

Very lazy and rude staff.. I just waned to drop off a super tiny cell phone size box for retuning…read moreto amazon and their front desk staff refused to take it. They told me to go to the back of the building and return at the dork. So I drove to the back and there was no one at the dork after waiting for 5 mins. I just drove to another Canada post and shipped my return at front desk without any problem
