This is my favorite sit-down spot for pizza in Brazil (I say Brazil because they have locations…read morespread throughout major cities). As a local chain, there aren't an overwhelming number of outposts, and the pizza is good enough that I've seen lines at both this Rio and São Paulo location. The large restaurant can hold a number of people and it's nicer than a typical grab and go pizza place. You'll find locals making the queue to celebrate their birthdays and other special occasions. If there is a line and you don't feel like waiting, I recommend grabbing a table in the bar area and ordering your pizza to-go. While we waited, our trio enjoyed a few beers and by the time the pizza was ready, so was our table. We simply asked them to skip the to-go request and serve us at the table. The menu is chock full of different pizza options and you can't go wrong.

The service, the food, the location, the ambiance, the vibe, the atmosphere, the people there are first class. They seem to have a really good logistic and organization, because when I was there it was almost full. But the service manages everything and nobody waits too long. Good administration! I loved it. The pizzas are the highlight and the desserts are like heaven too! The restaurant per se is big, elegant, clean, simply and beautifully decorated and seem to be "in" in the moment. It is worth a visit/ or many visits.

this restaurant is located at the food court of the mall BARRA SHOPPING in Rio de Janeiro this spot…read morehas a payment style that is different than the usual American style of paying for dining. parking for this restaurant is the parking for the mall that is a paid parking and they do not validate parking so if you come here you will pay to park your car at the mall, however with the exchange from dollar it is a pretty cheap parking deal. when you get here you will receive a little card that you will take to your table, this place is a flat fee of 50 reals to eat all you can and drink all you want. once you sit at your table you may give your drink orders and then they server will provide you with a plate, you can walk to the buffet and eat all and any items that are available. there is plenty to choose from, from salads and hot meals all the way to sushi. While you eat your buffet items, servers will come by with over 40 different flavors of pizza at a rodizio style. some of the pizza flavors are: - Portuguese -chicken and catupiry -shrimp -Canadian bacon, scallions and catupiry -4 cheeses -kit kat - coconut kisses -pineapple -brownie -pepperoni - plan cheese, and many other flavors. the best part of this rodizio is the fact that the pizzas are of super thin crust so you can nearly feel the crust and all the flavor come from the toppings, in my opinion this is the perfect pizza, you can taste the toppings all flavors and spices come alive and the crust does not spoil any of it. as you drink and eat servers will keep your drinks flowing and the pizzas coming. once you get a little full and stop eating the savory pizzas the sweet desert pizzas come out and eventually they ask you if you have any requests for flavors. once you are done you can just walk out to the register at the door of the restaurant to pay and you can go your merry way. tips are not required in Brazil as usually the tip is included on the price of the meal, however I do leave a tip anyhow since I worked at the hospitality industry for a long time and appreciate the good service that this spot has to offer. I will for sure talk about this spot and will visit again on my next trip to Rio.
