I asked about billing insurance since they were an in network provider and was told they would not cover it. I was told I would need to pay for it out of pocket. I was unaware that as an in-network provider that I would be unable to submit for reimbursement since insurance provider requires them to submit the billing. Now I am out over $1500 for a service that would have been covered had they followed normal practices of checking coverage before administering service! I would not recommend this facility at all. If I could give a stars I would!

The nurses and physical therapists are rude and/or passive aggressive and they lie about what patients tell them in the patient's medical file/chart. When my medical files/charts were requested by the Social Security Administration, the Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital told them that there were no records for me. Like I had never been seen by them and I HAVE been going to that hospital for years. I hate them.

We stayed, because we loved our occupational therapist, Abby. Then, we later added speech services and really liked Sarah Hyde. Since Abby left, therapists have really been hit or miss. We loved OT with Whitlie, but others have been very unprofessional...not wanting to accept, understand, or learn about my daughters' diagnoses...even arguing with me about them. I definitely would NOT recommend Marshall, unless you have the name of a really good therapist there to request.

I would not recommend this facility simply because of the location. We were in speech and making small strides, but then the therapist suddenly quit the practice and left. We've been on the wait list ever since. As she ages, her peers pass her by all while she cannot get the therapy she desperately needs. My son is also been on the wait list for over 3 years for the same therapy. We do recieve "telehealth" OT and the therapist is great, but let's face it, a child with special needs really needs in person therapy. The secretary/receptionist seems to always have an attitude. Louisviille, especially the south and southwest is desperate for more pediatric therapy practices. It's a shame this is pretty much the only one and they are booked solid. Hundreds of kids go without the help they need. Lastly the scheduluing is inflexible. Take what they give or forget about it. Which is what happened in my son's case. The therapy was in the middle of the school day and we couldn't just leave school and go to thearpy twice a week. So we've been waiting for the last 3 years. Kind of ridiculous. I will say all the therapist are great, but this practice is poorly managed.
