You & I & everyone has sinned & done evil and the punishment for that is Hell forever but, God didn't want that so Jesus who is God (God is a trinity, meaning he is three in one also known as three 'persons' in one being named God. The Father, The Son/Jesus, and The Holy Spirit are equally God, but they are different but equally the same being It's why God is called a trinity because he is triune.) Jesus came to earth as a human man and lived a perfect life, and he did many different kinds of miracles and the leaders hated him, and they wanted him killed, so they took him and killed by nailing him to a cross and letting him die but, he rose three days later from the dead and when he did this he took your punishment of Gods wrath and paid your price on the cross, and he made a way for you to be saved from paying your evil deeds yourself and Jesus says if you place your faith in him alone as your personal savior he will save you. You can't earn salvation because you already don't deserve it and we deserve hell, but Jesus died for your sins and if you trust him alone as your savior he will save you.

Hey everyone. First a little bit of my background when it comes to my spiritual beliefs and my…read more relationship with God. As a very young kid, (five years old to be exact) my mom remarried to my step dad. He was and assuming still is an athiest. Basically you either believed what he believed in all aspects of life or you keep your mouth shut. My mom and I learned that very quickly. It was not the best of situations as a child, mother or a wife. They remained married until I turned 18 , then got divorced. The healing process for me and my mom immediately began..... So I have always wanted to go to church because even though I went through so much pain and with my family situation as a kid I never lost faith. I had my private relationship with God and truly believed and know now that is what got me though..... Gods Love... Now let's talk about the present..... I've been wanting to go to church for so long but just was afraid I guess to just go in not knowing what to expect, what you have to do, how to do it, where you should sit, even wondering how people would accept me at their church..... A few months ago I was out with a friend and we ended up having a deep long conversation about God and both our beliefs. It was a few hours long and it felt like 20 minutes lol. Towards the end of our talk she said to me that if I would like and felt ready that I could go to her church one Sunday and she would kinda show me the ropes and be there for me if needed . That church is the South Congregational First Baptist church in New Britian. Two Sundays later I went to this church very nervous but knowing my friend would be by my side was excited and very ready! My first experience was aaamazing. The service was so beautiful. Everyone I met not only accepted me but talked to me in coffee hour after the service and I immediately felt loved and welcome. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pastor Jane. She not only welcomed me with the most amazing smile but listened to my story and will be helping me get baptized at some point in the near future! Her sermons are so beautiful and sometimes very unique which I'm sure everyone will agree it's what makes her so good at delivering Gods Message.... The church welcomes all. Anyone who wants to come can come. They have bible studies which I am currently doing and learning so much. Great discussions. They have get aways for great causes. Miranda, the friend I told you about, recently planned a very fun and successful trip to the science center. She is also the teacher for the Sunday school there and does such an amazing job with the kids. They recently had a holy surprise for everyone a few Sundays ago. It was beautiful! I know there has to be so so many beautiful churches out there, but I can only tell you about this one cause it's all I know. I can't see how anyone could go wrong with at least trying something. If you are thinking about going to a new church or trying a different one, maybe like me, going for your first time, I highly suggest you give this church a try. I have been there around 3 months now and can't even imagine going anywhere else. I look forward to every Sunday now. Thanks for reading my story and my journey!

On April 29, I called the church a little close to 10:00 PM after traveling from out of state to learn that my mother may not live through the night at a nursing home minutes away from the church & needed her last sacrament (last rites). When I finally reached Father Dariusz, his first response was "You should've called earlier! I just got home & I don't know if I can make it! I'll have to see." No sympathy, no support. Instead almost a scolding for the inconvenience. I was floored. This is a woman who believed in all of her sacraments and was committed to the church and to God. And this woman was dying. My cousin was there and called Sacred Heart Church. My mother hadn't set foot in that church in decades but within 10 minutes Monsignor Dan was at her bedside with no questions asked. He administered the sacrament & offered his sympathy. She died shortly after. While making arrangements at the funeral home, the director asked what church she belong to and where her funeral mass should be held. I chose Sacred Heart. I refused to give Holy Cross even one more dime for a funeral mass. As a member of close to 50 years, she deserved better. Death does not work around the convenience of others. After all, isn't that the job of a priest? To be on call for times like these? This task would have taken less than 30 minutes yet that was the response I got. I can't begin to tell you how disgusted My family is! This is unacceptable! And it will never be forgotten! Shame on him! And kudos to Sacred Heart for stepping in! Holy Cross Lost all of my family as members from that moment on. Prior to this incident we called the church to get baptism, communion, and confirmation records all that took place at holy cross through my nephew whose parents paid tuition for many years as well as contributions to the church. We were told he no longer belongs to the church so they would not share his records. My nephew lived in Massachusetts and was attending a new church. My mother had to go in there and bribe the priests with a $200 "donation" to get copies of those records which should have been free given our families commitment to the church. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR!

Quote from your site, "If you commit to tithing for the next 90 days and are faithful to that commitment, we are confident that God will bless you-so confident, that if at the end of the 90 days, you regret giving, we will refund 100% of your tithe. How's that for a challenge? What do you say-are you in? Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." - Malachi 1:10" You even sighted the wrong verse it is Malachi 3:10
