We stopped by because I needed shampoo and conditioner and we wanted to get some at home easy margarita supplies. Econo had everything we needed and more. They had a frozen foods section, produce, pharmacy and health and beauty, bakery, liquor and beer, and more. I ended up buying a block of ice cream for $1.99, what a steal. I noticed that some of the liquor prices were a liiiittle higher than Minnesota's but not by much -- and the other product prices balanced it out. The first time I went…read morein, and waited for my bi-pap guy who was a half hour late, I thought the counter ladies were just having a bad day. No one could be that snarky and rude on a regular basis. But tonight they proved me wrong. I watched one clerk bully an elderly lady into a bill higher than she was comfortable with, and got snippy when she was asked for a delivery date. And was so rude and insulting that I told her I had no need of her "services" and left. I'll be following up tomorrow with whomever manages the place, so hopefully things will improve. But watching people take advantage of vulnerable customers is more than I can bear.
