Walked in yesterday to ask about the price for accupressure. The lady at the counter told me that…read moreit would be 55 GBP and to fill out a form. I filled out the form and the doctor saw me right away. He did a 3-5 minute assessment of my shoulder issue and then had me lay on the table and proceeded to do acupuncture, which is not what I came in for. I decided to let it go and he put a bunch of needles in my shoulder and neck. Then had me roll over and did the same to the front. I will say that I my frozen shoulder did feel 50% better BUT he kept mentioning that he recommended me to take herbs to help for 5 weeks at 70 GBP per week. I declined. Then when I went to leave another person was at the counter with a bunch of herbs already bagged up told me the same that the doctor recommended the herbs for 5 weeks. I said no, and he said that there is a discount so the 5 weeks would cost 50 GBP per (250 GBP) I declined and as I went to leave he told me that the 55 GBP was for the consultation and that the acupuncture was 90 GBP. In the past month I've had acupuncture done in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco . This was more expensive than ANY of these cities. I think that the doctor was good, but the practices of the office leaves much to be desired. None of the other acupuncture places that I went to ever suggested herbs for the muscles in my shoulder. One sold me a muscle balm, which makes more sense. Beware

I was pleasantly surprised and I absolutely recommend this salon to anyone who wants some pampering and proper treatments. I will definately go again next month if possible. While I had to go through tedious and repetitive question's psychiatrist nurse was warm and friendly, while the psychiatrist doctor was just professional. Also while waiting in the A&E i found the nursing staff to be rude, and had the attitude of "am bothered" to the other patients. I know being a Nurse must be stressful with long hours, but lets not forget why we wanted to get into the nursing profession. Also considering i had been in that waiting area about five hours, i was promised a sandwich and tea, which never came, went to speak to a nurse about it, instead of giving me a reply she spoke to her work colleague and was left standing like a lemon, plus I never got my tea and sandwich. I also came here for a wisdom tooth to be taken out (Dental department) this was more of a positive experience, friendly and professional and I was well looked after. I've heard mixed reviews about Ealing Hospital and my experience was defineltly mixed.
