I have had a couple of bad experiences, other than those two the food has been delicious.. I ordered the shrimp fried rice for a large party and got mostly tomatoe fried rice. I dont know when they started putting tomatoes in but the tray was packed with tomatoes cooked in the rice, that it tasted like tomatoes. The food was wonderful & the server was a sweetheart. Food was well worth the price & reasonable for the price. The beverages are priced a little high & there isn't much for parking. We ordered yellow shrimp curry, ultimate pad thai (kinda fishy but really good), teriyaki beef, pineapple rice, beef satay, deep fried tofu, I had thai tea, oj, lemonade, & a pop. They often forget to spice the dish at all when you phone. This is the second time I asked for hotly spiced curry and received utterly unspiced curry base. It even said spicy underlined on both receipts. I love their food, but am very disappointed with their phone service. Their solution was to drop off chili paste and have me add it myself. read more

Been going to this place for years. Everytime I went customer service has been horrible. Was rude and did not come to check in on our to make sure we were okay. When we asked for sauces she would have an attitude. Service is HORRIBLE. Decided to stop going there. Recently this week went back thinking their customer service would change, WAS WRONG!! I ordered some soup, told the lady I wasn't sure about the soup but I would try it. I got the soup and it was nothing like I thought. I asked if I could switch it for something else that I normally get and she was very rude and said "no that's how we make our soup there's nothing wrong with it" I simply said it's just not what I expected. I must admit, I was a big fan of this little mom n' pop joint the moment it opened. As most of you South Bay folks know, we don't have any note-worthy Thai restaurants in the area. My fiance' and I have tried most of their dishes, and the only dishes that are decent are: red curry, green curry, and beef pad see eaw. We never deviate between these three. Most people will order Pad Thai at Thai restaurants, but DON'T. Its rather bland, with very little meat. On Sunday, we decided to pop in for a quick dinner. BAD DECISION. First off, our waitress could not speak English coherently and had trouble understanding our order. We even repeated the order back to her, but she still managed to botch the whole thing up. We ordered pinneaple fried rice and they brought out chicken fried rice. Who would go to a Thai restaurant and order chicken fried rice? When we sent it back, all they did was add in a few pinneaples and cashews. WHERE WAS THE SHRIMP? WHERE WERE ALL THOSE OTHER SPICES that accompany the pinneaple fried rice? Oh, but this wasn't the worst part: our chicken satay skewers came out completely RAW. We had torn off pieces to determine which parts were raw (mind you, most of it was still pink). Our waitress apologized and took it back. Oh boy, we thought we were getting brand new skewers but she gave us the same ones that were completely shredded apart like a little rag doll! When we got the bill, we didn't receive any compensation which is fine, because its not expected. However, when I went to talk to her, she put the blame on us for ordering the chicken fried rice. WTF?!! I am DONE with 3 Spice forever. If you don't want ecoli, choose a different eatery. read more

Im a regular customer of three spices thai kitchen, me and my husband loves the food and there was a super nice waitress but I guess she quits already. So my husband and me came there for lunch, nobody was there except us, a middle age guy (owner maybe?!!) served us. We asked if they could make some thai beef jerky, he snapped "NOT ON THE MENU" we were like oh okay. Then we ordered and food came out as good as it usually is. I wanted some hot sauce but nobody was there to attend us in the dinning area so my husband had to go grab it for me. In the middle of the meal that guy came to our table and tried to grab the hot sauce and the spice tray back. It was so rude !!!! Then I wanted some dessert, I ordered the fried banana and coconut ice cream he said "no, no have it" i pointed to the tempura green tea ice cream, he shook his head "no no only mango sticky rice, you order mango sticky rice yes?" Boy i were already so mad, not because of they don't serve what is on the menu but the way the waiter served us. I asked for the check, he brought it to our table and stay right there expected us to pay immediately, we didn't even have time to look at the check !!! What the hell on earth is this. I had the Tom yum shrimp soup yeeeeah Nope tasted like sweet tomatoe broth. I like spicy and not even their watered down jalapeños or chili make my dish any better. I had the chicken teriyaki from the lunch special $9.95 and the friend rice was stale and eggs overfriend not fresh at all. The teriyaki sauce was bottled and the chicken not seasoned at all just barely grilled and plated nice that's all. The thai tea was what made our food ok. Granted my husband's pad thai was okay. The waiter was just there trying to take orders no customer service and even gave another customer the fork and napkin my husband had touched to use in from t of her and she just got it and gave it to another person. Nice visit with the boyfriend for dinner on a recent Friday night. We've ordered Take-Out from them before but this was my 1st "in-house" visit. Small, cute, cozy interior. Nothing fancy with an Asian feel that's clean & comfortable. A busy whir of staff running about handling Take-Out orders & serving guests. We were promptly greeted & seated. Cold drinks quickly followed. I ordered the Chinese Broccoli with Cashews. The boyfriend ordered one of the curries with lamb which comes with rice of your choice - brown or white. Mine didn't come with rice so I ordered the brown. Prices seem VERY reasonable. They appear to have options to add Beef, Chicken, Lamb, Shrimp or Tofu to all their entrees - all for a nominal additional charge. I opted for no Add-Ons as I wanted the full veggie effect and it was super AWESOME. Chinese Broccoli appears to be different from the standard & I LOVED it - somewhere between young broccoli stems & kale. It was lightly sautéed with crunchy cashews with a light soy sauce dressing. Didn't have that overbearing "fish sauce" taste although it was probably in there... :/ On both occasions, we've ordered the Veggie Spring Rolls for appetizers. Theirs appear to be homemade - really good - a little doughy sometimes but always fresh & crunchy & served with a sweet & spicy sauce. Service was friendly & efficient. No issues there. They forgot my brown rice but there was plenty of wait staff around that all I had to do was flag someone down & they quickly retrieved it for me with an apology. Nice people there all doing their best to serve us dinner. The place quickly filled up as we ate. Interestingly enough with lots of kids. Given the size of the place, I didn't see it as "Kid Friendly" but apparently others don't feel that way & feel comfortable bringing the whole family which I thought worth mentioning. Also deserving of an Honorable Mention although we didn't try it - Fried Bananas. A plate of them zoomed by & they looked awesome - looked like they had some kind of coconut breading, a bit of chocolate syrup drizzle & was served with ice cream. NEXT TIME!! ;) read more

Highly recommend this place. Great food, good prices, and friendly service. I came here today for the first time after passing it up for the longest. Its a real small place-I came with my aunts and cousins..for a couple of them it was their first time trying Thai food and they loved it. We ordered damn near everything on the menu. We had Pad Thai, Pad See Eaw, Bird of Paradise, Salad with Peanut & Sesame dressing, Shrimp fried rice and pineapple fried rice, chicken satay, dumplings, fried vegetable rolls, and wonton triangles. It was a lot of food but it was really good. Portions are sizable..go here if you're really hungry... We shared everything and it had great family feel. We plan on taking out next time or getting it catered. The waiter helped us a lot with what to order and how the portions were sized because we were going to order more food and he told us to calm down a little and I'm glad he did because we would have drowned in all the food. I drove by this store but never thought to stop by. What caught my attention, however, was the font used on the sign. This neighborhood isn't bad but it's not entirely safe either, so I never really felt like stopping my car to check out the food till this week. The food is awesome!!! My rule of thumb is that if the pad thai sucks, the whole place sucks. If you can't get the basics right, how can you trust the rest of the menu? They're menu is great. When it says "spicy", it really comes out SPICY so watch out. It gets PACKED at lunch time. Tons of young business people taking a lunch break. They pile out of carpool cars and take up tons of space so get there a little before noon on a weekday, if possible. I have been here 3 days in a row so far. Not sick of it yet. Lunch prices are $6.25 for a huge plate. Pad see Maow and Pad thai and Spicy Rice are my favorite so far. Banana coconut dessert is good, too. read more

The interior is small, but modern compared with most hole in the wall, old Thai restaurants. I always get the Larb salad ( minced chicken or pork salad eaten with cabbage), Tom Yum soup, and Green Curry. I only wish that they served wine, until then I just bring my own bottle! read more

Well well fellow yelpers its been a while since i've yelped sorry for the delay! But I thought i'd give it another try, so just the other day I came with two friends to have lunch, and since this place is near my house we decided to give it a try! Ok so as soon I saw this place I thought it was a great spot to come and hang out and grab a bite, its a little cozy spot you could come out to and have a date with you at hand, but we went during the lunch hour! and all I could say is the prices were too good to be true, ok so im a big fan of curry, so I decided to get the curry lamb, which I have to say was quite a dish especially the set up, I also ordered the thai ice tea which was how could I put it DELISH! my total came out to 9 bucks which is nothing! including tip came out to 12 bucks, prices which are too good to be true! I think the only downside i'd have to say is the parking, it doesn't have big parking space, so maybe if you come here at night you might have to look around! other then that I suggest you come down!!! read more

Good authentic thai food~seems to be very popular since its packed by 11:30am for lunch. The tom yum soup was much too salty-I don't how anyone could drink the soup without some white rice or plain noodles in it because it was that condensed. The beef pad kee mow was also incredibly salty. However the basil flavor in the noodles were good and the beef was tender. The green curry with shrimp was very mild and tasted mostly of coconut milk. Pad thai was delicious-a bit saucier than the standard pad thai seen at other restaurants. We also ordered the chili basil fried rice which was tasty but interesting...they used japanese sticky rice for this. As far as service, they were understaffed so service was a bit slow, but the two waiters did the best they could considering the large crowd. Parking does really suck...the spots in the lot are all tandem. Overall, knocked off 1 star because some of the dishes were so salty that I was left feeling thirsty no matter how much water I drank afterwards! read more
