We went to TBM a few weeks ago for my wife's birthday and overall had a great experience. Headline: Great food, good service, excellent servers, wonderful place to enjoy company. Here are the highlights: Wins: --Ambiance: there aren't many trendy / semi-upscale spots in the area, so while this place sticks out, it's definitely in a good way. Inside has an open-air, industrial feel, and the lighting and music are on point. It's not so stuffy that you can't go to enjoy a beer, but nice enough to where you can get a great cocktail at a decent price (~ $10) --Food: Everything we tried was on point! We had the scallops, the burger special, the steak Diane, stuffed mushrooms, and the pull apart garlic bread. While it was all very good, DO NOT SKIP the pull apart garlic bread ($3) or the stuffed mushrooms, they're just incredible. --Desserts: We ordered several, the cookie with ice cream, some sort of chocolate ganache, and then got a pumpkin cheesecake as complimentary for the birthday. We wouldn't have gotten the cheesecake if they didn't throw it in as a treat, but this was TO DIE FOR! Seriously. And the server had recommended it, so I felt so silly for not ordering it. --Drinks: We ordered a mocktail and three different cocktails and all were delicious and well-made. --Thoughtfulness: They label the to-go containers with the date! How perfect for when they get tossed into the fridge :) Mixed: --Service: The servers themselves are absolutely fantastic! Excellent recommendations, good teamwork between bussing, drink refills, food delivery, and attentiveness. The front of the house logistics could operate a bit better; it took a bit to get seated and have the server show up, but once they did, the experience was great. They don't separate the restaurant by sections, so servers have to run all over at times. We spent about 3 hours there, but weren't expecting to be in and out...if you want to go somewhere quick, this place isn't for you; they don't plan on turning over tables here. --Pricing: This isn't a comment directly on the price of the items, overall I think it's very fair for what you get. There was at least one oddity though; we ordered the scallop appetizer, which came with 4 of them ($15), piled on top of some lentils. They were so good that we ordered the dinner, which was priced $1 less than twice the price ($29), so we thought we'd be getting a deal with 8 scallops; however, only 7 came out, so it really wasn't a deal at all. I came here for Mother's Day Brunch with my mother and I'd say I had a great time. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hostess, Kayla. I let her know that we didn't have a reservation, and she accommodated us without hesitation by seating us at the bar due to the reservations that were already booked. My mother and I enjoyed the Mother's Day brunch and all the foods and desserts that were made. Everything was flavorful and a good vibe. Today, they didn't have bottomless mimosas but they were only $8 a glass. Not bad, and the brunch was filling and not just breakfast which I loved. My mother has a great time and I will be returning. It wasn't crowded at all and the servers and staff all wore their masks accordingly. Oh yeah, and with the brunch it was a glass in between the people and food so no one was hovering over the foods besides the Chef who's serving the food to you. Which I loved! We visited three blind mice mid week for a late lunch. We arrived just before the restaurant closed mid day. The restaurant closes in between lunch and dinner, but the bar stays open. We sat in the bar area and ordered a salad, a sandwich and a combo. The food was great and our server was very polite and personable. 5 stars checks all the boxes for me... nice scene, enjoyable lunch, good food, great service, and location was easy to get to. The S.O. and I came by on a Saturday evening around 6pm. Parking is limited, but we were able to find a spot right at the front with ease. It wasn't busy at all. The restaurant has undergone a lot of changes inside. They've maximized the space and even added an extra space for big groups a few years ago. It looks and is much more roomy than when it first opened. We were greeted by the hostess and immediately seated outside per our request. Our server introduced herself shortly after we were seated and took our drink orders. I ordered a glass of Riesling ($8) and my S.O. tried a can of local beer. She returned a few minutes with our drinks and basket of complimentary bread and whipped butter. Then, we ordered the following: Flash-Fried Calamari $10 Pork Roulade with Pimento Mac and Cheese and a side of Red Wine Potlikker Gastrique $23 Winter Greens Salad $10 + Seared Tuna $8 The S.O. complained (just to me) that the calamari appetizer was salty and didn't taste fresh. He thinks it was previously frozen. Can't say I disagree with him. The rest of our dishes were good, though. The pork roulade and mac and cheese were delicious. The mac and cheese was lighter than your homemade, made-from-scratch, pounds of cheese mac and cheese, but still had that rich and creamy taste. Although the pork wasn't tender, the texture was fine. It wasn't chewy. His salad and seared tuna looked fresh and tasty. He said it was good. Neither of the entrées were salty. Overall OK experience. Service was great. Staff was friendly, and our server was very helpful and attentive. Since distance is very convenient for me, I will most likely return in the future. read more

What a wonderful backdrop for a girls night out to celebrate a birthday. Large, but quaint wrap around bar with over 40 soft gray barstools. Small tables along the walls for small or large groups. The front of the bar has enough room for our musician of the night, Justin. He had such a wide range of genres! What a voice! Love, love, love him. He can sing to me anytime, day, night.... Friendly Carla is the owner and hostess of this beautiful neighborhood restaurant. Menu items were delightful. You can pick several items and put them together as your meal. I had the peach salad. Half size was like a regular size. The scallops were seared just right. The bed of lentils were not overpowering, but complemented the scallops well. The monkfish on a bed of Coconut rice was superb! Visited Three Blind Mice on the recommendation of family friends on a Friday night. Located on the corner of a small shopping center. As soon as you walk in, you're immediately thrown into shelves and shelves of different wines and then the room opens up into a bar and tables across the room. It's got a vibrant atmosphere with beautiful woodsy and dark accents. Ordered a white wine sangria which was fantastic. They also have daily specials, so I opted for their Pasta of the Day, which had shrimps, penne pasta, spinach, and grape tomatoes doused in a light lemon cream sauce. Very good and light. My family friends always get the sticky pudding as they say it's their best dessert! Unfortunately, they did not have any of the toffee left for us to get any but definitely order it if you can! They were out of a few things by the time we ordered around 8:30 but what we were able to get was delicious! Other food recommendations would be the Steak Diane (the sauce and mushrooms taste phenomenal), the Brussels sprouts, and the pull apart garlic bread. Service is great. Our waitress was very sweet and personable. She was very quick and made sure that we always had refills on our water and coffee. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with home fries. The hollandaise sauce was delicious and the ham was cooked perfectly as well as the eggs. I also ordered a side of biscuits and gravy. Let me tell you, this place definitely has homemade biscuits from scratch. They are good sized biscuits that are fresh and fluffy and the gravy is chunky and homemade as well. Very disappointed in my lunch today. Went specifically to have the Monte Cristo sandwich. By definition, that sandwich is a double or triple decker with ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese, then dipped into an egg batter or custard and pan fried or deep fried until golden brown. Well, it had ham, turkey and Swiss, not battered nor golden brown. A glorified sandwich with powder sugar on top. On the menu it states "batter", however, when I asked about it the owner said they don't make the batter anymore. Change the description then, it's not a Monte Cristo. read more

They have a huge selection of wines for the wine snob and a great beer section as well. The service here this time was perfect, compared to last time I visited and they were closed (No hours posted on the door. I came during lunch hours). I love salmon, so our server recommended the Smoked Salmon Sandwich, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Our group enjoyed the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, it came out in a cast-iron skillet. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place. There are very few quality dining here places in Lilburn. Two actually and this is one of them. I wanted a break from Public House and came here for dinner. The vibe was great and food was great! My daughter raved about her steak it was cooked perfectly and the flavor was great (I tried some). The lamb had a well seasoned crust and chimichurri like topping was a good accent. The risotto was more thick than creamy but I didn't mind because the flavor was still good. The scallops had a perfect sear and went very well with the quinoa, and I loved the molten cake. I was not a fan of the sticky pudding. I felt it could have used some crunch or texture variation. Overall. I will definitely recommend for a date night, small dinner or a place for drinks. They also have what looks to me a great place for a private dinner or event. Very attentive and quick for coffee refills. Usually at brunch spots the coffee refills are hard to come by but not at this place! I ordered the special of roasted toffee French toast. It came out on two huge pieces of toast. It was so good! It was topped perfectly. It was so good I barely used any syrup and enjoyed it the way it was served. We also split the biscuits and gravy. Most brunch places claim their biscuits are handmade from scratch. Here they actually are! They are nice good sized biscuits that are fluffy and fresh. The gravy is chunky and house made. Whenever we leave church this is normally our first stop. Three blind mice is like a tucked away gem. They offer food and a wide variety of wines. The wait for tables are the bar is generally short and acceptable. *Entree: Sunrise Scramble I ordered the sunrise scramble on my most recent visit. Three Blind Mice was EVERYTHING, while you'd expect it somewhere in downtown Decatur or Inman Park, it is a jewel tucked away in the suburbs of Gwinnett. My girlfriend and I went Saturday evening for dinner and drinks, we quite enjoyed ourselves. Started with a bottle of the current rosé which was Côtes de Provence Rosè for $34 (was cheaper than each of us ordering two glasses each at $10). That rosè was everything, and lasted us the entire dinner. We bypassed appetizers and sipped on our wine with the bread and butter they gave us. For dinner I ordered the chef's seafood/fish selection "Caribbean Style Pan-Roasted Corvina" and my girlfriend ordered the "Cavatappi Pasta". Our food was SUPERB! Like, super good. My friend had so much pasta and ate it all. I'd never had that fish before but it was so good, very fresh and flavorful. After dinner, we ordered the crème brûlée without cherries on top. We weren't crazy about it, because it just had the most overwhelming cherry taste, and our server told us if we weren't crazy about it she'd make sure we got a dessert we absolutely loved and replaced it with the brookie. That brookie ... was perfection. I could eat it everyday. It was so warm, moist and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Perfection. While we stuffed our faces, there was live music that was so GOOD! We loved the spirit of the restaurant and the wait staff was so kind. TBM was intimate, delicious and lively. TBM has been a favorite since it opened. Tonight was our first dinner there in 4+ months due to Covid. They did not disappoint!!! The fish special was this gorgeous Halibut dish....farro, artichokes, spinach, pesto...delicious! Started with the Summer Peach Salad. And my friend loved the French Onion Burger. We had the cheese platter as an appetizer which consisted of 3 unique cheese slices. For a main I decided to try the blackened gulf red fish which was one of their weekly specials.
