Since they're trying to get my google review removed, here it is.. Moved here back in March, place was filthy, carpet is old old and stained pretty much in every room, appliances are way dated, bugs of all shapes and sizes, inside and out, lots of space, quiet place for the most part and they try and keep it safe here. But we've had some issues while living here. We moved across three states straight into this place. It took us three days to go grocery shopping. I mean we got enough to fill the empty fridge. The next morning I realized the food was warm. They wouldn't reimburse us for the food even though we brought it all (unopened) to the office in a trash bag and had a receipt. They did decide to take $35 off of our rent for the following month. We obviously spent a lot more to fill our fridge. Our GFCI's kept tripping in every room.. thought it was strange my cheese took a minute to melt in my microwave, but didn't think too much of it until I decided to make a simple vegetable soup in my crock pot and when it wasn't cooked 10 hours later realized something was up with this kitchen. No idea if it was the old fridge that spoiled my food or the electricity problem.
Regardless, it was nothing we did. We just spent a lot of money in moving expenses and deposits for us to be treated like the old appliances, electrical issues were our fault. I should've known this would set the mood of how we would have been treated with further issues.
Today, end of June, triple digit heat index..
I'm cooking dinner (5pm), walk upstairs realize it's so hot, quickly realize my AC wasn't working and it already shot up 4 degrees, call the office she says it's frozen over and someone will be here tomorrow morning. My husband calls back and says he knows it's not frozen over, maintenance ends up coming out, they said the condensate line was backed up, they cleared it out. AC still isn't working (7pm). Apparently their AC guy doesn't live in the city of Pensacola, they don't have access to Freon right now and they will be here in the morning. My sick toddler gets to be a hot sick toddler tonight and they don't give a rats one way or another cause it's not them sleeping in this apt tonight where it's already 82 inside. This is too much to deal with when you pay this much in rent (especially here) you're living conditions should not be borderline unlivable. read more
