Typically, most Thornton gas stations provide pretty decent service. The one in South Holland unfortunately is the exception. I went in this morning at approximately 8:50am and there was a young lady behind the last register. She was in uniform and looked in my direction and then proceeded to continue doing what looked to be, looking at her phone. As the line started to grow, myself along with another customer looked in her direction assuming she was wrapping up whatever personal business she was doing. NOPE! She was eating ice from a cup and looked at us with an attitude and pressed a button that said "service at front counter". A young lady then came from the floor and assisted us. If this young lady was on break, the professional thing would have been to say "someone will be right with you"....not totally ignore us. Also, if she was on break, it's probably best not to take your break behind the counter. As customers, how are we to decipher whether or not you are on break or lunch? Wow! Gen Z! Just no respect! I stopped into the store almost every day and yet the last week I've been treated with the most disrespect the cashier tries to charge me triple the price tries adding on items that I don't want and then proceeded to try to make my payment go through when I told them I didn't want the product then received multiple phone calls to the point of harassment from a regional manager, calling himself Billy Johnson telling me that he had filed multiple felony charges against me and that the chief of police was looking for me personally and that I will be arrested well all of this going on. I was at work so I left work drove directly to the south Holland police where they had no reports no police reports and no complaints referring to what I was talking about so I don't know if Billy is fake or if he is just but I will be contacting corporate office along with the chief of police of South Holland filing multiple complaints, harassment charges, and lawsuits read more

I was at this SHADY gas station yesterday and used my credit card to pay for $35 in gas. When I went to put the gas in my vehicle, the pump stopped at only a little past $2. When I went inside a young lady told me that my card will not be debited because the gas didn't get into my car. But today I saw my card was charged for the full $35. When they 1st opened it was very nice place to come, now the staff is not friendly at all. The staffs facial expressions says it all, one of the young ladies at the register looks like she doesn't want to be there she doesn't even speak. Owners and managers need to do something about their staff or they will be closing it down soon. Will be taking my business to the LOVES truck stop down the road. read more
