After few minutes I could hear her laughing in the room, I felt so much better. Since she only has a house and savings he found a way to get everything we needed for the Estate including Durable Health Care POA etc for under the lowest price quoted anywhere (under $1,000). One of them, Nancy Oehler at KDG, was my choice. Nancy is not inexpensive, but she gets things done that few other attorneys in this field can or do. It's not that they can't, I suppose, it is that they don't know that some things CAN be done. Nancy has the kind of experience and ability to navigate problems that few attorneys do, and that makes her work worth every penny. I have dealt with several other attorneys at KDG over the years and found them to be top shelf people and very good at their jobs. The staff at KDG are well trained, professional and quick. Time is not wasted, and work comes accurate and complete. KDG is not cheap, but they are worth the money. Attorneys, in general are not cheap, but having the best possible legal advice and assistance is definitely worth it. After working on the trust with KDG and Nancy Oehler, I can say I'm glad I sent them all the referrals and will continue to do so. Very impressive law firm. Keep it up!

These guys are just attorneys who decided to practice Family Law. My experience with Azemika & Azemika was horrible. I personally met with Nicholas for my consultation and he shared stories of success in family law. I had a child custody matter that needed to be resolved. It was not complicated, but my child's mother was litigious. I felta bit confident because opposing counsel was not exclusively a family law attorney, he was a one-man law firm that did a little bit of everything in regards areas of specialty. During the court hearing, the opposing counsel (attorney) easily outmaneuver Nicolas' oral arguments in front of the judge. It was like Azemika & Azemika are family law attorneys in general, but don't have the ability to handle above-average skilled attorneys that push back against them. They didn't even object when the other attorney made absurd claims. ***I literally ended up with significantly less custody as a result of Azemika & Azemika's failures. After burning through my money throughout the months, they would not take phone calls unless payments were made in full. I was a college student at the time and needed to make payments after a certain point, but they refused this option. After not being able to pay for an full retainer fee again (they wouldn't accept payments, they filed a motion with the court to drop me as a client. I absolutely regret using them to represent me. I eventually got a different attorney who immediately got me full custody (which is unusual for a man to get) and eventually a court order that allowed me to move out of Kern County with my son.

CAL BAR complaint Filed!! http://calbar.ca.gov This Dude is worthless as an attorney. I wish I had seen the reviews before, so I WOULD NOT have hired him. I hired him after a FALSE "FREE consultation" I had URGENT case so I PAID in full for 2 Cases. Still did not get consultation. took my money and was ushered all the way to the Street. I was given intake forms to fill out, completely wrong for my case. I wrote all pertinent info, separately, on my case but NEVER discussed my case w this guy. Instead, a "paralegal" with Pessimal English skills wrote docs all wrong info, wrong defendant, etc. I REJECTED to re-do. They filed a motion anyway but never contacted me about it. Atty NEVER appeared for Hearing, I Did not appear bc I was NOT informed. Case dismissed. On a Probate case, (never discussed) he did not make appearance. I had to Prod him by TEXT to show up at hearing. made a "Verbal objection" but never Filed any Docs to officially enter the case. Instead filed "substitution of Atty" and DROPPED HIMSELF out of the case Without ever telling me. I kept calling to find out status of the 2 cases, then unprofessional secretaries were Rude, offensive, name-calling. Was LIED-to and said first case was "continued" but was DISMISSED. I had to go to court and INVESTIGATE status of Both cases. the Probate, Deadline for filing actions was passed and thus, by Statute of limitations I lost right to make claim. Lost at least $3.5 Million Dls in Probate case. When I contacted and demanded answers, Staff was Rude and condescending. I demanded a FULL REFUND so I could hire a REAL lawyer and SALVAGE my cases. this Crook refused to return money and laughed at me. ONLY AFTER I filed a CAL BAR complaint (link at top) and notified him, he still had the AUDACITY to STEAL my money and offer only 100dls from the Thousands I gave him. This Guy is a CROOK and a THIEF. I will get him SUSPENDED and RECOVER my money!!! IF he screwed up your case and STOLE your money, contact CAL BAR he needs to be suspended and DisBARRED. (I have done it before to Crooked lawyers. IT WORKS!! Do it!) read more

I've been working with Thompson Law for nearly 4 years now, and I cannot fully express the gratitude, and appreciation I have for this place. They have gone, above and beyond in the work they have done in my Family Law case, to ensure that I am a huge part of my daughters life. Before I came to Thompson Law, I felt like, as a single father, that the court system, not only treated me like a criminal, but would put up every barrier they possibly could, to keep me from seeing my daughter, and being a regular part of her life. From the beginning, everyone at Thompson Law, genuinely showed concern, and compassion for my situation, and my daughters needs. They took my case, and aggressively have been fighting the court, and have gotten things, now, to a point where my daughter is a regular part of my life. Avoid This Attorney at All Costs My experience with this attorney was nothing short of a disaster. Despite what may seem like a competitive rate--$3,500 upfront and $500/month for six months--the service received was abysmal and ultimately cost me a case that should have been a clear win. He consistently failed to return calls or respond to messages. Court dates were continued not once, but four times due to his complete lack of preparation and coordination. It was obvious that his team had no internal communication; the left hand had no idea what the right hand was doing. This was a straightforward case--one that any competent attorney could have resolved efficiently. Instead, it was botched beyond repair due to his disorganization, arrogance, and stunning lack of professionalism. He showed zero empathy, failed to advocate for me effectively, and treated my case with outright indifference. I will be filing a formal complaint with the State Bar for negligence, failure to communicate, and a total disregard for ethical standards. Do not make the same mistake I did. Do not hire him. He will get you where you need to be, and he is a bulldog in court. I took off one star because I feel like his arrogance, which is GREAT in court, can result in him not getting correct/ all the information on your side, and you have to catch and amend, but as long as it is not being sent to the opposing party, it is an easy fix. If you don't lie about your situation, he will go for the best outcome with your case. He is also on top of it when it comes to communication, which is VERY important. He also listens to what you want, fights for you, and is not content in settling (in my experience). As I mentioned, I had two more lawyers after him, so I am writing based off of my experience. I wanted to hire him a second time around but could not afford it at the time, so I went with someone else, who was great for the cost. My third lawyer, I paid a bit more than Mr. Carbone (Azemika) but I am getting horrible results and 0% communication, and the only reason I did not go with Mr. Carbone is because I'm a very emotional person and he does not tolerate bs and will call you out on it (in my case I was trying my hardest to co-parent with my ex-husband and did things that made my case more difficult), and this time around I was looking for a 'softer' approach from my lawyer. If I could go back, I would hire Mr. Carbone instead.
