My uncle purchased a truck from Thomasville Ford and they completely jerked him around. He ordered a new 2023 F-150 and wanted specific options on the truck. One item in particular is that steps need to be in the tailgate. The truck that they presented to him as his, didn't have the options he ordered and more specifically, no steps in the tailgate. Leading him to believe it wasn't the truck he ordered, but something similar. He told them he didn't want it. They fussed at him until he agreed to let them add the items to the truck. Once he got the truck home, he realized they'd made a mistake with the tailgate. He had found out the gate was electronic/automatic, which his truck was not equipped to control. The electronic gate weighs at least twice as much as the correct tailgate for the truck. When my uncle asked them to fix it, the General Manager "Screamed at him" "I'm not putting another dime in that truck" I contacted Ford Customer Service in Detroit and they said they could force an independent dealer to do anything, but they could call to verify the truck has the correct tailgate. I waited on hold while the CS Rep made the call. When she got back on the line with me. She said when she mentioned my uncles name, the receptionist got foul mouthed with her and told her she was taking up her phone lines and hung up on her. This has not been resolved yet. I realize that many Yelp reviews are written by people unhappy with whatever their less-than-happy experiences have been regarding the businesses they are renewing, ipso-facto, most are likely weighted towards low ratings. That said, I am reluctant to low-ball my reviews, hence the three stars. My problem with Thomasville Ford is the inability to get thru on service issues, particularly RECALLS, which while perhaps not important to the dealership, is very important to their customers! No thanks! Stopped by to look at the new Ford Broncos. Salesman was not enthusiastic in showing me what they got, constantly looking at his phone. On my way out, I looked at the Mustang GTs where there was another salesman also looking at his phone and barely acknowledging my presence. I have been calling this place since last month about my gap refund since I refinanced my vehicle and can never seem to get anyone on the phone other than the receptionist.I have left several messages and still NO call back. What does one need to do to get you guys to return calls in a timely manner? I guess my next step is to contact corporate. I took my F150 in for a complete inspection and I was told it was in perfect condition, after I voiced concerned about the brakes. One day later my brakes went out in the truck so it took it back to the dealership to get the items fixed/replaced after multiple visits, which included: ( brake rotors (3 times all around the truck), master cylinder (2 times), boost pump (2 times), new rear brake lines, new brake pads all around (4 times) and a new abs system) after a few weeks in the shop I was told it was ready again, the same day I got the truck, the brakes went out again and back to the dealership it went. A few weeks later while it was at the dealership I was told it was ready once again, but this time once I got the truck back my the brakes were locking up and blew out the transmission on the truck, ( which was not Fords fault because i was told I should have known to stop driving it and pay for it to go back to the dealership once it happened ) so I send it to a transmission shop to get the transmission rebuild and then back to Thomasville ford dealership to deal with the other issues, but every time I call for the status of my truck I get the complete run around, i tried talking with the several managers and I've been told all kind of things like: the only person who knows anything is out to lunch, the head mechanic is on vacation or he had death in the family, parts are hard to get in, the mechanic they have are very young and are not completely certified, my personal favorite, I will call you right back which means in a week or two. I'm somewhere around four to five months now with no end in sight on getting my truck fixed, so if you don't want your issues resolved in a timely manner and enjoy the endless run around and spending lot of money on rental cars then this place is perfect for you..:-(. Just remember you've been warned!!!! In my opinion one star is to high of a mark. I should have gotten a Chevy SMH. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR IN FOR SERVICE HERE!!!!! Was in town and took the car in for its needed service, they did their "multi point inspections" and told me everything was good to go. Almost a month later my battery cable corroded in half!!! They claim they cleaned the terminals of all their customers but didn't inform me of any buildup on the battery. If I had known about a problem I would have gotten it fixed before the car left me stranded in the parking lot at night. When the other dealer who regularly service my car offered to pay half the repair and contacted them to see if they would cover the other have they refused saying I wasn't a regular customer and they didn't feel obligated to assist i the repair. So apparently doing the right thing for the customer isn't on their list of priorities unless you visit them "regularly". Beware of this dealership as you may find out later down the road they didn't tell you about problems with your vehicle!!!!! read more

If I could give no stars I would. Called on March 30, 2021, mid afternoon to schedule an appointment with the service department to bring my car in for service. After playing phone transfer for a few short minutes I finally talked with a lady who identified herself as the "OIL CHANGE LADY", and that's all she schedules and everyone else was tied up. So, she took down my name and number and stated she would have someone call me back. Ok, no problem, I understand they are probably busy, but I never got a phone call back that day and would have never gotten one back it seems like. Well today, March 31, 2021, I attempted again to speak with someone in the service department. I spoke with the receptionist first off and she transferred me to a guy who asked how he could help? I explained in detail what I needed and he then promptly put me on hold and transferred me to who I believe was the oil change lady again. She was obviously distraught and taken back that she had to speak with me. She did acknowledge I was on the other line with her, but her disgust could be heard in her tone. I tried to speak with her and let her know what I needed, but she refused to respond. I finally said ma'am can you hear me, ma'am can you hear me? The lady then stated she was too busy and in the middle of a screen and she would have to transfer me back to the receptionist. My blood was boiling at this point and I spoke with the receptionist again who asked me who I was holding for? I explained in detail to the receptionist about my experience over the past two days and asked to speak with a breathing person, not a voice-mail. I was then promptly transferred to who-ever's line and guess what, another voice-mail. This is just a brief synopsis of the events today. Way to much too type in this well deserved negative review. Thomasville Ford, you are only as good as the people you have representing you! Your customer service has failed me on two different occasions in the past 24 hours, and this is not the first time I've had a bad experience with your location. The only reason I tried again this time was because the previous negative experience I had was made right the next day and I chose not to leave a review for that experience. I would encourage any consumer reading this review to reach out to a neighboring Ford dealership. You will get way better service from one of them. I called another Ford dealership today in my area and was promptly directed to a service writer and was able to schedule an appointment in less than five minutes. read more

I have used for two major jobs. They charge $90 for analysis before they do anything even if it is apparent what the problem is. They do excellent work, although are a bit slow. In general everyone is friendly. In the future, unless it is work under warranty, I will use Auto Air and Radiator of Thomasville. read more

My name is Leanne Blickenderfer I recently bought a vehicle from your dealership over two months ago and I am inquiring about a set of keys that was promised by Butch and Dave. I have been calling the dealership constantly about getting an update on where I stand in regards to the keys and every time I call they promise to call me back with not one return call as of yet. I spoke with your receptionist on numerous occasions, she ensured that she brought it to the attention of Butch Dave and Derrick. Last week I was promised yet again that I was going to receive a call back from Derrick and yet again no call but I did get a text message saying from Dave that he was in contact with dealership that originally had the car to begin with and that he did not hear anything back. I don't know about what you think about this but I feel as though that it was a pretty messed up move to text me instead of call me. I believe that this is because they I'm sure are tiered of dealing with me but on every occasion that I have spoke to someone I was told that we treat on customers with the upmost of respect and well to say the least I have not felt like I have been treated with respect. I am very upset about the situation and how it is being handled and am at a lost as to where to go from here. I have told the receptionist Dave Butch and Derrick that the car was damaged and at an auto body shop for the past month now I have only been able to drive my vehicle for two weeks out of the two months that I have owned it due to many things happening first a sensor that needed to be changed for the transmission and the Hyundai dealership had it for two weeks and two days after I got it back a tree lim fell and damaged the car significantly and now the auto body shop has had it for over a month now. I told Derrick Dave and Butch that because they were supposed get the windshield changed out and I had never received a call about that either due to damages on the vehicle it was changed out so that promissory was forgiven. All I am trying to do is get my keys that Butch had told us the other dealership had on order and for some reason it is this big issue but with no resolve as of yet. If you can understand I am at my wits end with frustration and am unsure of who else I need to reach out to so I am reaching out to you for help.
