It's not the coolest or most artsy decorated store, but they have a ton of records, and that's why you're here in the first place, right? My wife and I have shopped here a couple of times and have enjoyed ourselves. Much to be found here. Staff (at least the dude running the register) is not overly friendly, but that's okay. Not here for a social experience as much as Record shopping, and this place offers that by degrees. Check to make sure they are open before you make the journey there, as I seem to remember some sporadic opening hours. Definitely worth a stop if you find yourself in Munchen.

I have had great luck in other parts of EU so I was looking forward to seeing what could be found in Munich. I did some online research and found Schallplattenzentrale was the only shop within my reach for the day. The reviews stated they have a good selection of used vinyl but also warned of high prices. This place definitely has a lot of records; tons of Jazz, Soundtracks, a nice Deutsche Rock section, "Black Music" (funk/soul), French, Latin/Afro,... Really, a great selection of music. The shop is packed with vinyl and was busy also making for a fairly hectic shopping environment. I checked out all the sections and found some good stuff (Nino Ferrer, rare soundtracks, some Library records, rare Kraut etc.) Unfortunately, I left empty-handed, shaking my head with a minor sour taste in my mouth. Their pricing really is pretty ridiculous... Although I did see a few rare LPs, I found that even the everyday/every crate records were still extremely expensive vs. North America and global online pricing (Discogs, Ebay, etc). Records easily found nearly everywhere for $5-10 USD were generally priced around 30-50 Euros at Schallplattenzentrale. They did have a cheaper section of LPs priced at 3 Euros but all totally crappy records. Honestly, other than these cheap/crappy records, I hardly saw any prices below 20 Euros and most were 30+. If you have a bottomless bank account or if you're spending someone else's money it may be worth checking out Schallplattenzentrale. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother.
