Rarely am I impressed by accommodations, but I was duly impressed with the Acorn Inn. It was exactly the escape we needed after 16 months in isolation. If you are extra lucky, they might even serenade you. I have been here twice, and both times stayed in the room with the bath that is disconnected from the room. It is NOT a shared bath, it is just a few steps outside the room. Not a big deal at all and it's HUGE. Paradise on the Lake is a great home base when exploring the gorgeous Finger Lakes. I won't stay anywhere else.
