Pizza is not good, service idol but overall food quality is poor. Normally if you are not desperate do not go there.

My friends (locals) took me here to eat as they have eaten at Kiss the Cook before and loved it…read more The food is high quality and very fresh. Overall, Kiss the Cook is a nice place to eat with good atmosphere. I ordered the aubergine crostini and a spinach pizza but in the end there were problem with both my orders. The crostini actually had zucchini on it instead of aubergine. This wasn't a problem for me as I also like zucchini but I believe the menu was incorrectly translated (I used the English menu), regardless this was delicious!! For the pizza, I was given one with meat on it (I thought it was spinach as it had a "v" next to it for "vegetarian") and I had to tell the waitress that I couldn't eat it because I was vegetarian and it had some sort of salami on it. So, I instead ordered a aubergine pizza with goat cheese. Again, I ended up getting a zucchini pizza instead of aubergine, which is why I thought this was incorrectly translated. Still delicious though, just not what I expected!! My friends all got different meat dishes and salads, all of which looked delicious and they all said was great and of high quality. For dessert, my friends and I all ordered different things and shared--I ordered the brownie with ice cream, one my friends ordered the tiramisu, and my other friend ordered the apple tart. All were equally delicious but special shout out for the tiramisu as they made it exactly how I do, where it isn't watery, but has the perfect consistency!! I would return again if visiting my friends but let them know about the translation error!

Our group of 15 business associates decided to have on dinner "on the square" in the historic…read morecenter city of Wroclaw, Poland last evening. At 9:00 pm, Wroclaw's square was hopping with pedestrians patronizing the dozens of restaurants, bars and clubs with their European-style seasonal sidewalk cafes that line the square of this attractive college town of 600,000 making it the third or fourth largest metropolitan area of Poland after Warsaw and Kraków. La Scala, a well-renowned Italian eatery with an attractive outside-awning'd cafe was our choice for the evening. I have dined in many of the Wroclaw's most popular restaurants over the years having been involved in our company's business activities in this region but last night was a first for La Scala. The baked lasagna was the talk of our end of the table and in fact became my choice after sharing a few outstanding appetizers of bruschetta and calamari. I could tell immediately by the full-bodied tomatoes and zesty-sweet sauce on the appetizers that La Scala was for real...a real Italian enclave tucked into this meat-and-potatoes corner of the world. Their signature lasagna was served piping hot in a large baked dish. It's distinguishing feature was its surprisingly light sheets of pasta interlaced with cheese and their prize-winning tomatoey topping. La Scala got the job done in style for our large group last night. Got to throw 'em a quattro.
