We decided to stay here twice within eight days on a recent trip through Western Turkey. The first…read morevisit was OK as we were so tired from three long flights. We used their restaurant and the food was overpriced and tasteless. The proximity to the airport and the free shuttle did help of course. On visit two, we were accustomed to Turkish prices and services so we really knew how high their price was. We also had to ask for a change of rooms due to inadequate air conditioning. The service desk staff seemed totally distracted on both occasions which made us feel unwelcome. We'd suggest taking a taxi to a different nearby hotel unless location for early flights is vital. I will also add that the rooms are very nicely appointed and very current. The beds are super comfortable as well.

I stayed here last week on business. It's a clean modern…read morewell-located hotel right in the center of the city. My room was quite large and clean. Bathroom was also large and clean. There was an overpriced minibar that I would avoid. The staff was helpful and spoke fluent English. There's an indoor pool and a restaurant but I didn't use either. The executive lounge on the 30th floor is nice. The internet in my room was quite fast though I think a bit pricey. There are many many restaurants and stores within walking distance of this hotel. I think this place is expensive by Izmir standards but inexpensive by US standards. There are other nice hotels in the area that might also be worth checking out. But I would likely stay here again because I can't really think of any reasons not to.

This was our last stay on our Turkish adventure - and a welcomed on at that! Here's why:…read more 1) Service is wonderful - very welcoming, friendly and willing to assist - we had multiple interactions with the front desk staff, valet parking and housekeepers - all were very helpful and nice! 2) AC! I realize now that air conditioning is a coveted luxury abroad and I happily welcomed our stay here even more so for the cool rooms in the 100-degree Izmir heat! 3) Location is prime!! Right on the waterfront, close to lots of bars, restaurants and sites. The paved paths near the water made it nice to walk, sit and watch the sunset. 4) Continental breakfast - that's superior to others! We made our way down an hour after start time and although packed, there were many options allowing for our party of 4 to have what we wished. The food was replenished fairly quickly, which was nice! 5) Pricing was very reasonable - for the location, size and likeness of the rooms. Our rooms were huge - mine featuring a king bed and nice sitting area, along with a massive bathroom. I felt comfortable and slept well in my room on the top floor! :) When in Izmir, I'd easily stay here again!
