I want to emphasize that while medicine in Germany is outstanding, doctors do have a tendency to not spend a lot of time contextualizing the medical condition, helping patients understand their options and answering as many questions as needed. Dr. Klockenkämper was one of the few healthcare professionals that I encountered in Frankfurt that are the exact opposite, for which I'm incredibly grateful. They never return anything, and find the way to charge all of it. I came to AllDent because my ceramic inlay fell out and I needed to glue it back. I paid the deposit and filled up a detailed form for the refund. The Doctor gave me 2 options: to glue it back with a temporary glue, or to take and x-ray, and if everything is ok to put the permanent glue. First easy option he said is around 18€, and second would be more but still within 150€ deposit. I asked for an easy temporary option. Since the inlay was ceramic and fitted perfectly, the assistant put the glue on it, sticked it back and that was it. The whole procedure was 5 minutes long, no drilling or anything else was done. They didn't tell me the final cost, saying it will take some time for the money to come back. One month later with no reply, I emailed them and they said "there is no remaining balance, and there will be no refund". Then they sent an invoice where I could see what exactly they charged 150€. They mention time consuming, difficult procedures and services that never took place. It looks like they come up with tasks and prices, just so they can use up the whole deposit. I am very disappointed with this kind of treatment, in my opinion this is a scam for tourists. When you leave, there is nothing you can do. I tried to get an explanation, but they ignore me completely.

Unfortunately, the front-desk staff are often insensitive or downright rude, getting an appointment generally takes weeks, and wait times during the appointment can be prolonged (30+ mins). Plus, the waiting room is unpleasantly noisy. Bottom line is that going to the dentist is an unpleasant experience made worse by the unfriendly folks they have working here. There are better dentists to be found in Frankfurt.
