To start the paperwork it was in the midst of COVID so someone actually came out to me at my home, we met outside, they wore a mask, I completed the documentation necessary (the next day I called - and mostly because I called on a Sunday), and everything moved smoothly from there. I was assigned a paralegal to help support me in gathering documentation, providing information for folks that they needed to be in contact with. I am giving a one star because not ONCE have I received a call or email regarding my case and the status. After 6 months had passed, I decided to call on my own and get an update. I was told that they were waiting on my bill from the hospital, which I had already provided, and once they receive that they can send the demand letter. Another 3 months go by before I decide to call back and this time I'm told that they will send me an email with the demand letter, so I can sign off. I'm waiting and waiting for weeks. I waited ANOTHER 3 months before I called back to find out that "she never sent it" even though I was told it was sent while we were on the phone. I'm irritated at this point, so I call Maria. Maria then tells me that they NEVER send a demand letter without all of the bills. So, she is unaware on why my rep would tell me that. I hang up the phone with her just to receive an email 10 mins later with the demand letter. So, now I dont know who is telling me the truth at this point. 2 weeks after the demand letter was sent, I got an offer. I denied the offer and was told that they would send a counter offer on the 28th of August. It is now the 21st of September and again, not one phone call to provide an update. I called 2 weeks ago to get an update and was told they were following up with them on the 11th. It is not the 21st and still no follow up! Called this morning at 8am and was told that someone would call me back. Its now 1pm and still haven't received a phone call. Decided to call back and my rep is at lunch of course. Very frustrated with the lack of communication and unacceptable delays.
