This small garage cafe is tucked away, a block from the hustle and bustle of Carlisle Street. For a few weeks, I wasn't sure if this place was actually open as I'd walked by on numerous occasions and always saw it with the garage door down, making me even more curious. Well finally one morning on the way to the train station, I thought I'd walk by and sure enough, it was open! The inside is quite small and it only looks to serve pastries & coffee which is perfect for me or anyone else on the go! I did ask if they charge extra for an additional shot and they do. Boo. So I ordered a regular skinny latte {not strong}, waiting only a few minutes and then was on my way. My goodness, it is definitely one of the better cuppa joe's I've had in this area and very smooth. AND they are cheaper than a lot of nearby cafe's coming in at $3.50 for a small. If you're nearby, give this place a try! MUCH better than the train station coffee and much quicker than Las Chicas {they always have a ridiculously long wait and take forever in the morning.} read more
