I was once an employee at this location. To say that associates are poorly trained is an understatement. I was never allowed breaks and it was suggested to me--without fully saying it--that I wasn't even allowed to leave the kiosk for a bathroom break. The assistant manager (now the manager) was a bullying monster who treated us, and customers, like we were dirt. I heard her, more than once, make racial slurs towards customers and argue with customers over her own mistakes.
The associates did the best they could with the minimal, terrible training they had. Customers were treated terribly by the assistant, associates were treated terribly by the assistant, and any problems were not handled professionally. Instead, she blamed them on everyone else or on the customers themselves.
Even when I purchased items and the assistant did the engraving, she was too lazy to change the glass needle to ensure that it was a crisp engraving. A gift I got for my parents ended up looking fuzzy and grainy because she couldn't be bothered to do her job properly.
I'd like to say we did good work there: engraving was fun and rewarding, especially when a customer was happy with the result. But the nightmare of dealing with the assistant wasn't worth the hassle for myself and for some of the other employees who worked there at the same time as me. I can't imagine what it must be like for customers trying to purchase items and having to deal with her.
Please, save yourself the trouble: don't shop there or work there. read more
