Our buyers used him as their closing attorney, and unfortunately, he made an already stressful process much worse. He knew we needed to close on our home in order to purchase our new home and that we were leaving the country. The day before closing, he notified us that he would not be closing the next day and would "let us know when." We soon found out the issue was simply that he wasn't prepared - nothing was holding the process up. Needless to say, we were unable to leave the country and spent thousands of dollars out of pocket rearranging our plans because of his poor scheduling and lack of preparation. His communication and professionalism throughout the process were extremely disappointing. We've since heard that his reputation in the local real estate community is poor, and if your agent tells you not to use him, listen. Think twice before trusting him with your closing.
