DISASTER! If you are looking for a relaxing spa day with your girlfriends this is NOT IT!!!! Over a…read moremonth in advance I booked 4, 1 hour massages. As soon as we got in the car to head to the spa we received a call that one of the staff was sick. It was unfortunate, but we decided to split one massage in two, so that all four of us could still get services. Upon arrival we are told that somehow, our four HOURS of services could now only be THREE 25 MINUTES MASSAGES! This left one of our group with NOTHING. I could understand needing to switch all of the services to 25 minutes possibly, but this was beyond unacceptable. There were two massage therapists working. We were spending 900 euro. Even if the one therapist was not there, how do you explain the 2 hours we reserved with the other therapist not being available to us??? It was supposed to be a relaxing start to our family holiday, and it was chaos. No staff gives you a tour or any guidance, and it's a confusing layout. They clearly prioritize a high influx of the day access to the amenities over services. They had extremely overbooked the day passes, it was mobbed. It was hard to change, walk through the hallways, hang up your robe, enjoy anything at all. One of us who could not get her massage should at the very least had her day access complimentary, but no! I have been to many QC terme's in other areas globally, and I have never been disappointed. This one is in desperate need of proper staff, and serious customer service training. Do not waste your time or money!

Also very expensive compared to what I'm used to. (like I said, I don't have much spa experience) But it was a very cool place with lots to do. And we did almost all of it, just the spa part, and it took about 3 hours. There are many pools inside and out. The view, of course, it unbeatable. Some of the jets didn't work, which was a little disappointing. There are many rooms/experiences just going from room to room. Some were fun/cool/unique. Some, I thought, were silly and too similar to the room next to it. But you can make up your own mind. We didn't eat (it was a very nice buffet, but very limited if you're gluten free/dairy free like me) or do massages. And it definitely got increasingly crowded as the day went on. So I suggest AM and weekday. Having so many people around, and waiting for certain things definitely takes the Ahhhh away from the experience. One complaint, they give you a thick robe and plastic flip flops. For my feet, I absolutely couldn't wear them, it was super painful, even to stand. So I suggest bringing your own water shoes. And it was VERY hot in there for me, so I didn't wear the robe either. I carried it for the first hour, along with the shoes, and then just wore my bathing suit and no shoes (slippery, be careful) and if you want to eat, the robe is required, fyi.

The staff speak a little English and with my little Italian, we manged to get the message across. I rented a pair of flip flops and I stopped by the pool each day of my stay. The spa offers a whirlpool tub (turn it on before entering, switch is on the wall, near floor level between the pool and whirlpool tub) with two Chroma-therapy areas on either side of the bench seat. There is also a turkish bath, sauna, Chroma-therapy shower with a salt scrub mixture available to guests. The showers are behind the pool, near the massage room: two open bay and two with doors for privacy. Bring a towel with you as none was offered, although as a hotel guest, I brought one from the room and didn't think to ask for one! I made an appointment for a deep tissue massage and the masseuse did a wonderful job! It was both relaxing and worked out the knots in my back and shoulders. The masseuse was very sweet and funny. It was a very pleasant experience. After the massage she recommended I hop in the whirlpool for a bit, which I did. Then I made myself an herbal tea, available to guests in the pool area, and relaxed on one of the lounge chairs before hopping in the pool for a gentle swim. The ambiance here is so calming. It's an experience away from the cares of the day where you can indulge and relax. Wish I lived in the area so I could visit more often. Update Oct 2017: On my last visit I got an aromatherapy relaxing massage. I can not even express how lovely this massage was! The masseuse did an amazing job and I was on cloud nine the rest of the day. You really should give this a try.

Accessing the spa was easy and if you're coming with your luggage you can leave it by the strollers but it's not secured. Towels are 5 euro with a 10 euro deposit. The lockers are all gender but they have bathrooms and lockable changing rooms for privacy. If you are POC be prepared to be the only ones so you'll get some stares but if you speak German the spa is easier to navigate as nothing is in french or English. We enjoyed our time but definitely expected natural thermal baths instead of pools. I recommend waiting to purchase an entry until you arrive so you can decide the pass you want. I'd also recommend coming in the winter season and staying a night so you have easier access to the other pools and bathrobes and towels provided from your hotel.

Visited these baths in Brigerbad during low season in mid-May. It was like having the place to ourselves. But this is a huge facility that caters to the ski trip crowd in the winter months. They have an infinity lap pool with at least 6-8 lanes, wet saunas, hot baths, warm baths that are indoor/outdoor with lots of cool features, and gym and massage/beauty treatments. The prices are Swiss (expensive), but worth the value. Bring your own towels, flip-flops, toiletries as this is not a day spa that provides it. They do provide lockers and hair dryers. It seemed more like a mix of a gym (with a focus on water features) and day spa, but with a restaurant as well. Anyway, totally awesome experience and a hidden gem in Brigerbad.

Everything we did at the spa was wrong. We got there too early, we wore shoes after the changing room (a huge no-no). After a swim in the admittedly beautiful roof-top jacuzzi we changed into clothing to eat lunch (sitting in wet cold clothes in the bistro did not sound appealing).... and all hell broke loose. We were 'ABSOLUTELY' not allowed to wear clothes to lunch. When we explained we didn't want to sit in wet clothes we were met with blank stares. After lunch we promptly were told off for bringing a plastic cup of water outside of the Irish Bath area and for trying to eat a muffin near where we bought it... muffins must be eaten in a specific muffin eating area apparently. All told we were scolded a total 5 times in just a few hours. If you're looking to be told off repeatedly and to pay a handsome $350 USD for the experience, this is the place for you! If not we recommend taking a swim in your hotel bathtub.
