It's a zoo and hundreds of people pour in and it takes ages to get in and out of this place. The German obsession with IKEA is something I simply will never understand. The selection is huge but I don't appreciate how they make you walk through each section whether you want to or not. This is something I have never liked about IKEA, specially when you are fighting your way through impatient people or people just hanging about browsing and blocking isles :-) It's a somewhat necessary evil if you want to furnish your house on the cheap :-) I like some of their stuff but many things I simply would not buy here, and worry about assembling when you get home ;-)

This warehouse is at the same site. Most of the stores are pretty much the same. This one is fairly large and the self-pickup stuff is well arranged I guessbut typical IKEA really. They usually have quite a few things on clearance up near the returns area also.

This is a really nice IKEA compared to the ones I've been to which are in the US (Fairfax, VA and…read moreCollege Park, MD). For a huge place, it was very clean and organized far from how it is in the US-based IKEAs. The food hall is great and I like it how they have a dedicated next to the sauces for lingonberries. In the states, they limit the volume of lingonberry sauce, but not here.
