You could spend pretty much a whole morning being a tourist, happily strolling down Theatinerstrasse. Let's start up north, where we take in a little WWII history at the Odeonsplatz, and after that jump back a few hundred years as we visit the Theatinekirche. Grab a brochure in English for under €1, and stroll down the nave and around the altars to appreciate the amazing architecture and maybe even learn a thing or two
What's next? Well, a quick stop back to WWII as we pass the golden swoosh in the cobblestones of Viscardigasse. Why are they there? Look up my review for Viscardigasse here on Yelp - it's too much to post here.
So, now what? One of those beautiful, but pricey, cakes at Maleu? A coffee at one of the many cafes lining the street? Or maybe just a €600 euro blouse? You can find it all here.
Eat up, walk it off, and have fun. read more
