We took a vacation in Germany during Christmas and we stumbled across this cafe when we were walking the streets of Lindau. It was so picturesque, off the beaten path and when you looked inside it was full of warm cakes and coffee. Which looked absolutely divine after a long train ride. This cafe looked like it came out of a catalog. The cakes and creations looked like they were out of the Great British Bake Off and tasted so amazing. We tried some of their teas as well and oh man the Green Tea Mango was out of this world. Not very sweet or bitter just right with a wonderful aroma. Mark our waiter was very kind and funny! Helping us select what to eat and drink. And at the end of our meal he offered us these warm apple cider like beverages. Topped with real whipped cream a dash of cinnamon and the "cider" was a liquor made in the region that had 18% alcohol and the best tasting alcoholic drink I've ever had! So smooth and delicious, it was their "holiday" drink. That was the best holiday/alcoholic drink ever!!! So then of course we asked Mark all about it and he said it was made locally and drew out a map for us to find! The Prinz shop was also full of amazing and wonderful liquor, schnapps, whiskey, gin, you name it! We also got to try many of the drinks, all made in the region. This was the cutest little find. So get lost and stumble upon awesome places. It's so worth it read more
