The Zone helps me set the tone for my day. I love listening to Jason and Dylan. They keep me smiling from Langford to Brentwood Bay! Diane

Love the crew of 98.5. Great format and variety. So why the low rating you ask? The morning show is…read morewhy... We love AJ! Robin... not so much. She's aggressive and incredibly disrespectful to AJ. We've attended events she hosts and it's all about about her. We feel sorry for the organizations that bring her in and all she does is focus on her and not their cause/charity event! Robin, enough with your dating life and you, you, you. Here's an idea... how about discussing the topics that matter to your listeners. Perhaps the station management can consider having another co-host present when AJ is absent from the show. Perhaps the station management can also consider the WorkSafe BC definition of bullying and harassment and see how it applies to her coworkers... wake up!

Seems like the hosts are always pushing very far leftist views. Hosted by crazy cat ladies who are overly narcissistic. Leave your political views at home, read more

There are likely very few people who've taken the ferry from Anacortes to the San Juan Islands who…read morehaven't at least glanced at the front page of the Journal of the San Juan Islands. It's a fine, compact newspaper full of local news, both big stories and small, with a focus on the latest from San Juan Island, Friday Harbor, Eastsound, Orcas Island, and occasionally something about Lopez Island and Shaw. Of course I like it best for its news articles, but I also read the letters to the editor as well as the ads and the classified section. The paper helps with the transition from the rush of the mainland to life on island time. There's not much better to find a window seat on the ferry, sit back, and read and support a decent local newspaper.
