I recently made a special trip here to buy the Destination Portsmouth game as they were selling it for £4.99. the assistant was really friendly and we were discussing where to buy The Portsmouth Edition Monopoly too. The store is a little awkward to navigate if you have a wheel chair or buggy, as some of the displays are in the way a bit.

Since the other branch of The Works shut down, this one has seemed busier, but nicely so. Not packed out, so you can still browse in relative peace. Books suitable from 1-100!

This bookshop is located on the outskirts of the city centre, therefore it is not as easily…read moreaccessible as the alternative bookshop. However this bookshop concentrates on the student population and is in a handy location for them. As it is situated next to the Student Union students can't miss it. This shop sells all the textbooks that the students require because they get the reading lists from the University and order in advance. However the selection of other books is quite limited. This is due to its small size and the fact that it is focusing on the textbook side. For students it is handy as it will sell all the books they need and when I was there they also offered a student card to give you money off as well. However it is not the sort of bookshop anyone will find interesting to browse round.
