    Welcome to the Wine Seller
    Chris S.

Great selection and prices. The gentlemen that helped me was extremely helpful. He wasn't able to order the wine I requested, but I will make this my regular wine shop! The building itself is very attractive compared to most liquor stores.

Irish ale that was being sampled St Patrick's day weekend.

August 6, 2026 - Penrose, CO…read more We spotted the roadway sign for this winery on our way to the Royal Gorge Bridge and decided we had to stop on the way back. So glad we did. We were warmly welcomed, along with our pup, and decided to do a tasting. For just $5, we got five 1-ounce pours of our choice. They have a nice selection of wines, a comfortable tasting room, and a super-friendly host. Of course, tasting led to shopping, and three bottles of wine came home with us. The wines were very reasonably priced. A fun, welcoming little winery that was well worth the stop.

Charming Countryside Winery!…read more What a find! This place is like if the show, Cheers, took place at a winery. The endearing personalized wine glasses hung on the wall, each with the "nickname" of its patron took this place to a new level for me. We got to witness a local couple come in for a sip. The owner grabbed their wine glasses and was ready to pour their choice before they barely got through the door. The wine selection had something for any wine lovers passion. I am partial to a sweet wine and enjoyed quite a few of their offerings. We got a charcuterie board to munch on with our wine tasting and it was plentiful and filling. The owner is very personable and knows his stuff. Will be making this winery a regular stop when I come to Colorado to visit family.

My mom even said she would prefer to do that in future years vs. going back to the club! It was a very affordable option for Mother's Day but we liked supporting a local business. It also felt more intimate and carefree, not to mention an easy commute & parking situation from where we live. I think the only thing that would make it a perfect 5/5 Star brunch would be bigger forks, add knives, more napkins, & smoother ordering process. We were first timers at the winery so we didn't know what our tickets got us. Really the offering for Mother's Day brunch is on point & some small logistical improvements would really make this a perfect outing. I'd been dying to come to try their wine so this was a great way to be exposed to the winery. We hadn't known that ordering a mimosa meant buying a whole bottle of champagne but after trying their "Indulgence" my mom & I agreed we would get that everytime. They also provide a great plate of food for the ticket price that won't have you leaving hungry. The staff were also lovely. Looks like I'll be coming back soon since my husband who couldn't join us says he wants me to take him to their regular Sunday brunch.

Will be back just for that for sure. Some really good red selections, especially the Robusto. Dry yet had some fruit undertones with a nice pepper finish one of my favorites. The interior is just absolutely fun and eclectic. I'm really fun art on the walls and the servers were all so helpful when trying to pick out some whites for my wife's delicate pallet lol. Save a charcuterie board for us. We're coming back.

Today should have been no exception except it was. Instead of being friendly and helpful with my easy order of 1 bottle to go, 1 glass of wine and 1 hummus plate the bar staff decided to make it her job to make my time snd $ difficult. I hate paying $100 for servers to act condescending and trite over something as easy as basic customer service. Refused to place my hummus order with my wine bottle "to go" order unless I sat down and had it ordered by another staff member. Soooo I took my single glass of wine and had to find a host member to get me a table, go sit and wait 20 minutes just to place an order of hummus. Then another 20 for it to arrive. I just wanted to pop in for a glass of wine and small plate of hummus as snack to go w the wine. Plenty of servers. No big crowds or big rush, the bar was empty and mind you the venue is very small. So not sure what the big deal was. I think owners and management need to educate the newer younger staff on REAL customer service and how to make things work for the customer not the other way around. Like why was this bartender making something so simple so difficult. Also, at the end of my visit I didn't appreciate being startled and rudely interrupted 2x by a very young waitress that is clearly new and obviously has zero customer service skills or experience serving people. Would have been 1 Star today for Creekside if it weren't for Ryker. He should be the example and litmus for servers.
