A nice place to meet and enjoy some british food and drinks. After some years some of the interieur could have been updated, but otherwise my children got an impression of a pub somewhere on the isles. I love the sausage basket. read more

You are really in Ireland as soon as you cross the door. The live music was nice and I felt like in a typical irish pub in Connemara. The food is simple and good if you have no special expectations. Come early if you want to enjoy the life music or other events.. it's too full! read more

Last night, my friends and I were here on Karaoke night and after a while one of the workers insinuated that she would like us to leave saying that "you haven't ordered anything in a while" while we had our drinks and were participating in Karaoke night for the past hour, would not recommend to anyone read more

Its great to find an Irish pub in the heart of Germany, something I've missed since leaving Boston for my study abroad program. And Wild Geese Pub hits the nail on the head. The food is fantastic! I had the Bacon Burger, and it was the best I've ever had, which is saying a lot for a kid from Boston. If you're going to stop by this excellent Pub, I recommend karaoke night on Thursday nights, or Fridays and Saturdays for live music, and make sure to order a Guinness! read more

OK place for a cold beer and a snack. Went there 2 weeks ago while in Hanover. Very crowded, very…read morerowdy typical crowd for an Irish Sports Bar. Main issue was they only had 1 waiter for the entire joint. He was running his ass off, but, couldn't keep up. You had to almost tackle the guy to get service. Had a beer or 2, and wanted some grub... Fish & chips... but not that hungry, so opted for the finger food version of it... I think called fish pieces & chips, described as mini fish & chips? But it was different, the fish was actually medium fried shrimp, not much flavor, 2 fish bites, and a few calamari rounds. Not too tasty. Better probably just for the TV's and beer.

I had dinner at the Corner Pub it was a great experience. The Pub has an authentic appearance…read morenicely decorated and was very clean. The menu is decent but missing some original Pub items like shepherds pie or Irish bangers . The food was very good . Maybe the beer was a little too expensive but tasted great. The bartender was friendly and very attentive. Overall I had a great time.

They are open to making drinks not typically served in an Irish Pub, much less one in Germany...but an Espresso Martini in a bourbon glass is just as good as in a martini glass! They will change the channel to football games at your request. Every Thursday night is karaoke, and there are talented singers. Definite recommendation for a comfortable place to visit. Must go for karaoke!

This place is a rip off over €5.00 a beer and no customer service avoid this place.

ich war zwar noch nie in Irland und einem echten Irish Pub, aber das Wild Geese wirkt doch ziemlich authentisch.jedenfalls im Vergleich zu anderen Irish Pubs, in denen ich gewesen bin. Karaoke und Quiz Abende sind eine durchaus interessante Abwechslung und zusammen mit Freunden einen Besuch wert. Grundsätzlich herrscht hier eine angenehme und lockere Stimmung. Die Bedienung war bisher immer freundlich und nett. Angesichts der nicht ganz günstigen Preise erstaunt mich etwas die hohe Studentendichte ;-), aber insgesamt gehen die Preise in Ordnung. Mich persönlich stört aber einfach eine Unart, welche ich auch in anderen Irish Pubs schon erlebt habe. Direkt nach Ablieferung einer Runde Getränke, wird man direkt zur Kasse gebeten. Ich persönlich finde das einfach nervend und unhöflich einem Gast gegenüber. Sollte das eine Irish-Pub Tradition sein, so sollte man diese abschaffen. Ich bezweifle ja schließlich auch, dass Burger aus Irland stammen, welche hier aber zu haben sind! read more

Typisch irischer Pub. Als Stammgast der jetzt schon fast 12 Jahre halbwegs regelmäßig dort vorbei schaut kann man sicher sein: Es ändert sich nicht viel - und das ist auch gut so! Schummiriger Laden, englisch sprechende Bedienung(en) und häufig internationales Publikum können sehr interessante Abende bescheren. Das irische Bier ist lecker und das Essen für den kleinen Hunger zwischendurch ist absolut in Ordnung. Sicherlich nicht der "schönste" Pub Braunschweigs, aber irgendwie gemütlich ;-) Der Besitzer/Pächter ist fast jeden Abend anwesend und für ein Gespräch immer zu haben. Unter den Stamgästen tummeln sich einige interessante (urige/seltsamen/lustige/schräge) Existenzen, die aber inzwischen irgendwie zum Inventar gehören. Regelmäßige Veranstaltungen (Quiz, Karaoke, Live-Musik) runden das Komplettpaket ab. Einen Veranstaltungskalender gibt es auf der Webseite. Bei einem Besuch die Dart-Pfeile nicht vergessen (die spitzen, nicht die ollen Plastik-Dinger)! read more

Toller Ort um zusammen mal was trinken zu gehen. Ambiente ist toll, Bedienung sehr nett, das Bier ist klasse und wenn man zur richtigen Zeit da ist gibt's echt gute Livemusik. Es ist nur manchmal ziemlich voll, also entweder früh genug da sein oder ein bisschen Glück mitbringen für genügend Plätze. read more

Typischer uriger Pub (wer mal in Irland war, weiß, was ich meine), wo man auch englisch sprechen kann. Gibt den gleichen Pub auch noch mal in Hildesheim. Gutes Bier und gutes Essen. read more
