We had imbibed a few pints on the seawall in the past but never eaten inside. First impressions were of a PUB. My favourite type of pub where there was space for drinking and a restaurant set aside. We had a couple of drinks as we arrived early. Once again, surprisingly, normal pub prices with really friendly service. Deciding to see if we could be seated early there was no hassle. The restaurant area was buzzing. Totally jam packed. A table near us had about 18 guests, all having fish and chips. Very understandable seeing the plates that were arriving. We know what we are having NEXT time. Our feast then arrived. First a plate of cockles, shrimps in shell, smoked mackerel, crayfish, smoked salmon with a bowl of whitebait and calamari. A feast in itself until the bread, dip, chips (wonderful fat ones) and salad was placed on the table. Enough, enough. However, not finished a steaming pot of mussels. The waitress saw our faces, grinned and said, 'take your time'. We needed to. I loved the atmosphere, staff are brilliant, so friendly yet professional. Loved the PUB. Looking forward to going back in the near future. Thank you all, including those we didn't see in the kitchen, for a wonderful evening.

That didn't stop the staff giving wonderful, friendly, service. Even though I have had both jabs I am still extremely careful and the Covid precautions in this pub cannot be beaten. A wonderful pint and superb fish and chips. That fish was so fluffy and the batter light yet crispy. Thanks everyone for this break from the tedium of lockdown. All the best and #staysafe

There is a good range of beers on offer and all the drinks are reasonably priced. The food is okay too, I personally recommend the sunday roast. The toilets are clean and well maintained. The overall pub seems pretty clean and has that good quality pub smell we all love. The parking available is not the best but the pub has a good location so is easy to walk to from th centre of town. The seating is comfortable inside and outside in the summer. It can get busy at times but the staff are friendly and apologise ofr any waiting. All in all a good pub to visit.

No surprise when a black Labrador follows the lady out from behind the bar with food then proceeds to sit down and clean its bits, the bar staff couldn't really be bothered to be there either, we moved inside as it was a hot day and there were tables spare no surprise! though, my wife put her handbag on the table and fortunately for her there was a nice man repairing a window who helped her remove it with a chisel when we left....... yes the tables are very sticky, the inside reminded me of being a kid back in the seventies, such a shame for such a great location. Ray and co do a brilliant job of serving the beers and keeping the place tidy. during the day the Warwick is kind of a chill out bar, you know, some where to escape the trials of modern day living. the night time is the best time to go as the place transforms into a hub for all the locals (young and old) to come in and have a catch up with each other. Weekends the Warwick does music. for those dates you will just have to ask them yourself!. as you can tell i love the place, and so will you

Lovely 'quaint' old pub, a traditional ale house with friendly service and, more to the point, a fantastic selection of real ales. My heaven. Marquees set up in the garden with barrels ready to be imbibed. Quiet during the day but, I am sure, extremely busy in the evening. Going to keep an eye out to visit next year with friends.
