Eric is the lighting king and has all of the equipment to capture beautiful photos to cherish for a lifetime. He is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, recommending great locations at particular times in the day in order to capture many amazing photos. We were very pleased with our pictures! We received our photos about a 1 week later in the mail, on a thumbdrive. Making printing and sharing a breeze! We were so pleased with our engagement session and pictures, we also hired Eric to capture our BIG day (the wedding day). Again, Eric did not disappoint. We held our ceremony at the Santa Barbara courthouse. What a beautiful venue and Eric knew all of the perfect locations on the premises to capture the beauty for our day. Our ceremony was intimate, with just immediate family members, and Eric ensured to work diligently through our 'picture list' of all the different shots we wanted to take with each of our beloved family members. He is very courteous and also playful! We got a lot of 'goofy' photos, to especially please the little ones. Additionally, Eric has also taken my headshots for a company corporate event. I needed the photographs taken on a particular day (Friday), and needed the pictures back by Monday. Even with these strict deadlines, Eric was the first to respond to my request (within the hour) and was very accommodating all along the way. He is very professional, and fun to talk to - making for a great experience. Regardless of your needs, Eric has the talent, equipment and knowledge to meet your photography needs. Thank you Eric!

He provided us with exactly what we wanted and provided a ton of helpful suggestions along the way. And being a native to Santa Barbara Eric knew exactly how to shoot a sunset wedding on the beach. Eric and his team (Kenji and Lauren) were with us from early afternoon all the way through our champagne toast at midnight to ring in the new year. This was obviously a long day for everyone but they never stopped shooting and were beyond professional. My wife and I are beyond grateful to Eric, Kenji and Lauren for capturing our special day. If I know anyone looking for a wedding photographer in the future I will not hesitate to recommend Roland Photography.

Even more distressing, I haven't heard anything at all from Nessa or her team. I've reached out repeatedly through phone calls, emails, and messages on social media, and I've been completely ignored. This was a once-in-a-lifetime event for our family, and it's heartbreaking to think that these memories might be lost forever. The silence and lack of accountability are incredibly upsetting and deeply disappointing. I truly hope no one else has to experience what we have; it is truly upsetting.

It's worth saying at least twice because that's how much research we did. It was all worth it because at the end of the day we could not be happier with our choice. I had a vision for the video. I wanted our video to show who was there and reflect upon what happened - show the weekend - show the people, not just the bride and groom. We wanted it to tell a story and feel warm and love while being up beat instead of sappy and super romantic. In short, they nailed it. Just as importantly Tye and his team were kind and patient without ever intruding on or interrupting our day. He patiently listened to all my notes and it showed in the results. Janey has a very warm demeanor. She made us feel totally comfortable in front of the camera (not an easy task:). She was also great with the kids in our wedding party. She worked well with the videographers we hired separately. She respected our request to not be too present during our ceremony (as a wedding guest, I hate it when the photographers block the view of the bride and groom during the ceremony!) and yet she captures some beautiful shots of our vows. The wedding day flew by and I am so thankful we have the pictures to look back on. I cannot recommend Mary Jane Photography enough. Worth every penny!!
