They have ran some events with the rock matrix who are the main rock event promoters around the area and do a lot for the community. The pub itself has an almost circular bar in the middle, with a pool room with a couple of bar pool tables at the back. A good selection of fruit machines and quiz machines and friendly staff. This is one of my favourite pubs in Dartford, other nights they have include a Wii night with prizes, end of the month raffle, theme nights like beach, docs and nurses etc. Definitely recommended, check out the rock nights!

It can get very busy at weekends. The interior is pleasant and the bar staff are friendly. I have always found the clientelle to be of a better standard than a lot of the other pubs in Dartford. There are some flat screen tvs dotted around the pub. Apparently they don't sell Stella in here which may put some people off! But I would definitely recommend a visit.

We booked for Sunday lunch with some friends. A pub that was half way between us. We walked in to a very friendly atmosphere. We noticed that the restaurant was ready laid and apart from the bar. Immediately we sat down drinks order was taken and, what seemed immediately, drinks arrived. Great service, so far. We all ordered their Sunday roast. Choice of four or five meats. The plates of food arrived, the HOT plates. Now that was a nice change. Normally it is on cold plates. Kept the food hot throughout the eating. The plates were overflowing with delicious meats, numerous vegetables, real roast potatoes and a large Yorkshire pud. So much that a few of us never did finish it all. Coffee was delicious, well after that meal we couldn't face a dessert. Service was brilliant and friendly, yet professional. Would I go back again. A definite YES.

There is a very small car park if you wish to use it, or of it is full (which is highly likely) then parking on the street is available. Avoid the temptation to park in The Duke's Head car park as the owners do not like non-patrons using their car park.

The Arm's also has a good selection of whisky and flavoured vodka to sample. Recently refurbished this pub, opened in 1840, has the feel of a late Victorian Alehouse with a real fire, wood floors and dark walls. The Crayford Arms is a pub that encourages community spirit. Its welcome is warm and friendly and it doesn't limit itself to simply selling drinks, although of course it does excel in the quality and range of real ales. The Crayford Arms is a community focused pub with local groups and societies meeting regularly in the newly refurbished building on Crayford High Street. Local singers, bands and entertainers perform in an intimate setting and there are often weekend events which involve families, groups and individuals. There is a car park at the rear of the pub and an enclosed and partly undercover garden. No food at the moment but this is coming next year. Thoroughly recommended but with one warning, you will be engaged in conversation with the regulars, so be prepared for a great pub that is part of the local community - a rare thing these days. Firstly the place has had a complete refurbishment which represents a physical manifestation of the effort the owners put into running the place and ensuring the customers have a good time. The pub has a very reasonably priced menu. Two meals for a tenner is a popular attraction at lunchtime as it is ideal for meeting up with a friend. Their delicious carvery which is open weekdays and weekends is another reason for visiting. I have always enjoyed Sunday lunch here however it is essential to book a table. In my eyes parking is another attraction of the pub. There is ample space in the car park at the back however avoid the temptation to park in the street as it is charged via a ticket machine. I have also enjoyed many a pint in their front garden during the summer and on days with good weather there is a real buzz about the place. There is even a smoking shelter with a little shelf to put your drink which I feel is a nice touch. Drinking inside is pleasant too. The random paraphernalia on the walls and shelves add character, I particularly like the model ship which sits on the windowsill. The pub is "over 21s only" too which helps put my mind at rest and enjoy the company of more mature people without the "young'uns" making a nuisance of themselves. It's well worth bringing ID, even if you are over 21 as when I went, many people were turned away for not being able to prove they were over 21. This, in my opinion, has to be the best pub in Erith.
