The Wat Tyler Inn is a tradtional pub in central Dartford is one of Dartford's oldest buildings. It is full of character, and it bears a complete contrast to the other pubs in the town centre, as it has original wooden beamed ceilings, wooden floors, and overall a kind of sparse, Medieval feel to the place.
Having said that, it does have a friendly atmosphere, they serve several real ales in here and I believe you can get cheap accommodation here too. It is a nice place to meet up with friends for a drink and a chat.
There is a lot of history behind this pub and it is well worth a visit if you are ever in Dartford. read more
