GNC - Here is a screenshot of GNC's chat customer service stating unequivocally that there are no exclusions to their promotion.

GNC

Horrible customer service and false advertising !!!! GNC is…read more100% guilty of false advertising. On 2/1/26 I received an email advertising a BOGO ( 50% off the second product) for all protein products, specifically their powdered nutrition formulas. There were "no exclusions" noted in the advertisement. Additionally, the GNC app also advertised ( and still does) the same exact BOGO which is buy one get the second item 50% off with "no exclusions noted". It was also very clearly stated on the app as well scrolling across the top throughout my placing the order. Plus it stated free shipping for orders over $59. and a free product to be included as well. However both while at checkout and after wasting over an hour on the phone educating two incompetent and uninformed customer service representatives with proof, they still refused to honor the full page emailed advertised BOGO. The supervisor not only couldn't find the emailed advertisement ( which I had to screenshot and send to her!) but upon receiving it she casually stated that the BOGO apparently didn't apply to my particular choice of protein powder ( Serious Mass ) without any evidence but rather it was only her guess and her opinion in a very poor attempt to say why she believed the discount didn't apply at checkout. Yet neither the email nor the GNC app indicated that there were any exclusions to the sale whatsoever. Yet nonetheless the the customer service agent and her supervisor would not honor the extremely clear advertisement. Incredible. I am a long time GNC rewards member and was astounded at the unprofessional customer service at this company refusing to honor their own extremely clearly advertised promotion stated in a personalized 2/1/26 email to me as well as on the GNC app. Incredible. I will never make another purchase from such a dishonest and unprofessional company. I wasted an hour proving to the two agents I spoke with that there was an emailed BOGO promotion which neither female agent could even locate had I not sent a photo of it. They were absolutely clueless and refused to honor their own extremely clear promotion. I will now purchase my protein powder and every other nutritional product I use elsewhere from a reputable company. Never again will I waste my time with GNC customer service agents whom aren't even aware of their own company's promotions! WOW Additionally I received a second BOGO promotion via text to buy one protein product and get the 2nd at 50% off. So I double checked with their chat customer service agent this time to confirm no exclusions and once again upon checkout the price (50% off offer) was not applied. Fraudulent advertising by GNC not once but twice on two separate promotions. Stay away from GNC. See attached screenshot! FYI "The Vitamin Shoppe" GNC's major competitor has the same exact offer and they back it by instantly reducing the price before even checking out!
