Back at the Adelaide Fringe Festival's "Garden of Unearthly Delights" for the second year, The Veggie Galley offer vegans and vegetarians some serious food. Burgers are their forte and man do they do 'em well. They offer 4--that's right, FOUR--fillings: Sweet Chili Tofu, Satay Tempeh, Savoury Seitan and Pesto Mushroom. The burgers are delivered in a fresh Turkish bun with loads of alfalfa, shaved beetroot and carrot and sauce. Messy to eat but well worth incessant finger licking. At $10 a pop I think they represent pretty good value. Considering a really basic veggie Voodoo burger a few stands away is the same price you're getting a whole lot more bang for your buck. Service is super friendly, pirate hats and all.
