This is a return review. Over a period of a month, I had UPS Store make 2,000 copies for my missing cat. Jen, the manager along with the other staff were amazing to work with. Not only did they post my flyer, but I was able to get a very good rate on my color copies. The cat has been found and I will always use UPS Store for my copying needs; not only were they most helpful, excellent customer service, but the paper and copies were tops. read more

I was excited to hear the store was under new ownership because I told myself I'd never return. I stopped by in desperation today because of how convenient it is and I have a 7 month old. To my disappointment it was the wrong decision. I was told by Amazon and every other UPS store that it's okay to return more than one item in a box and use multiple labels, as long as they're each scanned. She yelled at me for cutting the line when I tried to use their tape dispenser to expedite adding my labels while I was waiting. Then she yelled at me for asking to use their tape dispenser. Then yelled at me for trying to use more than one label. I didn't bring my wallet in because it should have been a quick and free transaction. I went out to get it so I could pay for the extra bags I now needed to use. After the longest transaction ever, she decided not to charge me for the bags. I will now be using Amazon drop off going forward. The young girl was very sweet and helpful. I feel bad that's the person she needs to report to. read more

The new owner helped my wife with some printing for my son's birthday party invites and she did a wonderful job. I had a package to drop off this morning so I figured I'd go in to say hello and to thank her personally. She wasn't in but the staff member that helped me with the package was friendly and took care of the shipment fast and easy. Highly recommend. read more

Worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. The staff is obnoxious and arrogant. They treat a customer as if they're doing us a favor by being open. I have been told by the person calling himself the owner that the store has no affiliation with UPS. Message to the store owner - I have no affiliation with you and I can bring my business elsewhere. As a small local business owner for a number of years I'm shocked by the lack of professionalism demonstrated by these crude individuals. Disgraceful experience. I will not be returning. Wanted to ship a package today with a prepaid shipping label. The owner looked at me like I was asking for the world. He wouldn't tape up the very small box and was very rude. At first I thought he was kidding. I left. Will NEVER do business with the Stoneham location ever again. Horrible customer service. read more

My wife used this place to ship a package overnight today. She unfortunately misheard how much the price of overnight shipping was going to be and blindly paid for it. The cost they charged her for shipping was $121. I found this to be a little suspect and got a quote of my own through the UPS website. Actual shipping cost was $81. Even after calling the store, I'm honestly confused as to why we were overcharged $40 for the same 10:30am overnight service. BUYER BEWARE I guess. read more

High priced notary. Charged $20 to notarize 2 documents. Went to UPS store on Newbury St. in Boston a week later and got 5 documents notarized for $10. Don't know if the rest of Stoneham UPS services are equally high priced, but I bet the rent for this store is nowhere near what they are paying on Newbury St. Shop around especially if you need multiple documents notarized This guy has Newbury St. prices even though he is in Stoneham. read more

This UPS store is the worst I've ever been to. I walked in there with a book to return to Barns & Noble. I needed some tape to put on the label and be done but no he refused to tape on the label and if needed the label taped I could buy a role from the wall behind me. I couldn't believe this guy. Firstly, I had never met the owner of this UPS store before yesterday, and had no problem with the previous owner until I had a basis for comparson. I could not agree more with the most recent reviews about the new ownership in Stoneham. The owner greeted me personally, with a smile, and how can I help you. She had five balls in the air at all times, while maintaining that smile, helping me choose the right shipping boxes best suited for my needs, packing the boxes in a professional, neat, organized way, with not one wasted motion. I also received a AAA discount, which was so helpful because my shipment was quite expensive, but, it was way cheaper than what I had paid, sending almost the same exact items, to the same location. With the previous owner, even after telling him, before he started packing my boxes, that they couldn't be too heavy, the boxes were oversized, each weighing over 26 pounds. My friend couldn't even get them in the door, the contends were all a mess, and the box was broken. The new owner made sure the boxes held no more than 11 pounds, as well as packing them, intermittantly, with clothes, then breakables, to protect all the contends, which was time-consuming, but so appreciated. She also shared very important info about one of my items, telling me that the gift I was sending was missing a canvas, saving me from extreme embarrassment. Please do yourself a favor, go to this UPS store in Stoneham, MA, you will not be disappointed. read more

This may be my first review on Yelp ( long time user, first time reviewer) but I'm just so perturbed, I'm doing in the parking lot of their closest competition (ups store Woburn) I order online and ship A LOT and recently moved to Stoneham. Great, I shop local franchises - Stoneham has a UPS Store. Stopped by today to toss three envelopes into the pile back to Amazon, and needed to use their tape to affix the labels. EVERYWHERE ELSE, EVER has courtesy tape for this purpose. I asked the grey haired, uh-hm "gentleman" working there, " Pardon me, do you have any tape?" And was answered with " we SELL it right there" in the rudest, most condescending tone I have received from anyone in the service industry in years. Disgusted, I grabbed my things and left, and trucked over to Woburn. Now, I don't know if this place gets any revenue from prepaid return shipping, but I will tell you - they will not see my face in there again AND I'll make sure to tell my local neighbors. That does mean lost sales. How's that for a $6.00 roll of tape, buddy? read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I have been going here for many years because it was convenient, even though the staff (mostly Dave) has always had an attitude. Today pushed me over the edge - I went in not feeling well and Dave told me I had an attitiude with him - although he has had an attitude with me and all of the other customers everytime I've gone there. I asked him to just process my order (I didn't go there for his ignorant insults), yet he continued to insult me and provoke me. Definately go somewhere else, even if you have to drive your package across country yourself, unless you want to be abused. Although my RMA package was only bubble-wrapped and not ready to ship, I was helped with packaging at the store and it was delivered as expected. Of course, you can print all the required labels, pay for it on-line and drop it to UPS collection box, but it is a convenience to use the store and it saves you few minutes if you do not want to spend time boxing, weighing and measuring your package or if its too large to just drop-off. I also like having the receipt as a proof of shipment for returns. All in all : this store is recommended. read more

First of all please let me preface this statement with "Go to another store" (there are adjacent locations in Woburn and Reading) I visited this store on 11/5 to return a package. This was actually my third time visiting this store in the last couple of yrs and just like the other folk here have stated, I encountered the same ignorant treatment. However this last time, this person/ little man (same person on prior visits) was particularly odious. While Yelp provides a great service, I would also encourage folk to contact the Corporate Office of UPS like I did and lodge a formal complaint. They can be reached at 1 800-742-5877. Furthermore I discovered while speaking with Corporate UPS that this person is an agent for UPS and really does not have an immediate superior (hence the atrocious cavalier attitude) another reason to bring it to the attention of UPS directly. went the today to ship a box back to the sender the jerk that works there seemed annoyed and and told me he couldn't print a label, seriously ups cant print a label?? the guy was a real jerk with awful or should i say no customer service skills. i drove right to the medford location and much to my surprise the young man that works there was more than willing to print the label and help ship the package. a robot would be a better option than the jerk in stoneham. funny how all the previous reviews have the same thing in common the guy is a jerk !!! we all cannot be wrong so whoever owns this location take note your jerk is drawing a pay check for doing absolutely nothing what ever happened to the customer is always right?? well thats not the case at this location. head to medford, those young kids put this jerk to shame read more
