    Title: "The Last Customer" -- A Lesson in Rudeness at 4:49 PM…read more I have, over the years, encountered all manner of inefficiency and discourtesy in public service. But today, at precisely 4:49 PM, in the United States Postal Service branch in question, I was treated to a performance worthy of its own cautionary tale. I stood in line, letters in hand, prepared to send out important correspondence. Ahead of me, a woman -- the "last customer," as the clerk rather theatrically declared -- was being helped. I waited. Seven minutes passed. Seven minutes of absolutely nothing. No acknowledgment. No "we'll be right with you." Just the looming presence of a large clock and the even larger certainty that I was being ignored. The clerk, a big white woman with a demeanor that could charitably be described as abrasive, informed me -- without so much as eye contact -- that she would not be serving anyone else. Not because the branch had closed. Not because there was a system outage. Simply because she had decided that she was done for the day. In business, there is a difference between policy and petulance. The former is respected; the latter earns you a review like this. If the USPS is content to have its staff turn away paying customers with open rudeness before the posted closing time, then perhaps the leadership should make that their official policy. At least then we'd all know the rules of the game. Until then, I'll take my business elsewhere. And I suspect I won't be the only one.

    Recently, I have been going to the post office to send certified mail almost every month. Unfortunately, today I encountered a middle-aged white woman who has been working there since 2020. She used to help me send letters before, but I could strongly sense from her eyes and facial expressions that she disliked me. I always held back and didn't show my annoyance. But today, the service she provided for the certified mail really made me angry. As everyone knows, certified mail has two identical numbers, one on the letter and the other for the sender to keep. This white woman insisted that I write the same address on the part I keep, but there was simply no space to write all of it... This is wrong. She was targeting me and making things difficult for me. Before, it was never necessary to do this... Her attitude seemed fine, with a smile on her face... but she was actually very bad. In the workplace, only your professional ethics and knowledge are needed. Please keep your emotions and a calm mindset at work. If you don't like dealing with people, you can change your job. thank you

    I took a package to this location Saturday, I was there for a while because even though two people…read morewere helping me, clearly they didn't know what they were doing, the package had and old label and they scanned the new label, old location was pinole and the new location where I wanted the package to go was Calexico CA, I received 3 text messages saying that FedEx had the package Monday I received a message saying that my package was ready to be picked up at the pinole store where I took the package, so I called FedEx talked to 6 people, all of them didn't know what they were doing but the last one told me that even though they are FedEx, they can't talk to the individual businesses I called walgreens (fedex is located inside walgreens) and I talked to a very nice person and explained that the package is supposed to go to Calexico CA, she said okay A few minutes later I received a call from the manager Mary Grace saying that the package was at the location, I try to explain that the package is supposed to go to Calexico CA and she said that the packages was there and she was super rude talking over me, she didn't even let me explain, basically she didn't care, did I said that she was super rude, actually she was extremely rude I when to pick up the package and had to take it to another FedEx What I learned of this experience is that fedex don't care and won't help you The second is that is if I want to be mistreated even though is not my fault , I should go to walgreens at 2750 Pinole Valley Rd Pinole, CA 94564 United States and ask for Mary Grace

But every single time I come here I get that older lady who always snaps at me "you know you can do this yourself over there at the self serve?" The first time she did this, she added "we had a big training the first day we got it" You know what, no one was at your big training. So every single time I come in I get this lady and every single time she snaps at me "there's a self serve right over there." Why does this lady not want to do her job? Can anyone explain this to me. Why do I have to get snapped at every time I come here? So today I go there, there's another lady there, a blond lady and I give her my amazon return so I don't have to deal with the angry old lady.What does she do? She gives it to the angry old lady. "Do you know there's a self serve right over there you can do this yourself." "Yes. I do know." She stands there for a second and realizes I just want her to do her job. He was very rude to my questions, when all I wanted was to understand the process, and make minor suggestions to give him a better idea of what I wanted. But no, he said he "knows what [he's] doing" Even though he clearly didn't. My design ended up poorly done, it was not finished, and got all up on my face and raised his voice when I asked him to finish it after telling me that was all he could do. What I wanted wasn't complex or anything out the ordinary, Scott was just rude and very disrespectful. Would never go to him again, and highly suggest anyone else wouldn't either.
