It's definitely on the pricier side, but in all fairness, I think most of the ingredients are locally sourced. I tried the jerk chicken wrap, and it was a little drier than I would've liked, and the guacamole tasted like the avocados used for it were a day past ripe (it had that unpleasant, mushy avocado taste). My coffee was great though! I tried the rosemary and agave syrup, which is the first time I've had a flavor like that. It was very refreshing--almost like a minty feeling with every sip.

My three friends and I decided to vacation in Panama City Beach since my aunt lives in the area. We…read moremade it a point to visit local coffee shops and find some unique places to try. On the morning of July 10th, around 11:00 a.m., we came across Beaches and Cream and thought it looked like a great spot. When we walked in, there were three employees behind the counter. The two male employees were on their phones, and none of the staff greeted us or acknowledged that we had entered. There were only two customers already seated with their food and drinks, so it wasn't busy when we arrived. We spent a few minutes looking over the menu before getting in line. By then, a few more customers had arrived. When it was finally our turn to order, the male employee taking our order seemed annoyed and was not friendly at all. I initially ordered a nitro coffee because it was listed on the menu, but I was told they had never had nitro. I then asked for an iced triple-shot cappuccino, and the employee just stared at me and said, "I don't know how to make that cold." Rather than argue or explain, I simply ordered a different iced drink instead, which ended up costing nearly $14. I was also never asked for my name for the order. While my friend was ordering, another employee called out a completed drink. When no one claimed it, she asked the male employee if he knew whose order it was. His response was, "I don't know whose it is, and I'm busy taking orders so I can't help you." The female employee then called it out again, visibly frustrated, and slammed the container onto the counter. When our drinks were made, the sticker on them said "Randall," even though no one had ever asked for my name. I'm not sure if that was an employee's name or simply an error, but it added to the overall disorganization. The most disappointing part of our visit wasn't even the mistakes with the menu or the order--it was the customer service. Every employee we interacted with seemed unhappy, unfriendly, and irritated that customers were coming in. No one made us feel welcome, and the atmosphere was uncomfortable from the moment we walked through the door. As visitors to Panama City Beach, we were excited to support a local coffee shop, but this experience left us extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, based on the poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and overall attitude of the staff, we would not return or recommend Beaches and Cream to anyone visiting the area.
