Cajun Fries. Spicy garlic Parm. Asian heat. Cajun dry rub. Fried pickle. So so good.

The Thirsty Chicken absolutely snapped The green apple slushie was insanely good, and the 10 piece wings with spicy lemon pepper + Asian heat were NEXT LEVEL. Crispy, saucy, packed with flavor, and honestly some of the best wings I've had in a while. I'm already planning my next order

Austin-Right off the bat...VERY friendly, informative young man at the front. The gal working with him was not happy to be working today. We loved the divey vibe of this place. No indoor seating, so take note. We had 3 types of bone-in wings, deep fried cauliflower bites, and some chicken tendies. The garlic parm flavor was great but was WAY over-sauced. So incredibly messy, they were not enjoyable. Lemon pepper would have been great, but was so salty they were inedible. Bbq ones were ok. All the wings were super meaty which is a huge plus. The deep-fried cauliflower was a huge no for us. Way too much breading and way too much black pepper in the batter. The chicken tendies were ok. They were huge too. Fries were a hit. Crunchy on the outside, soft and yummy on the inside. The frozen daiquiris were delicious!! We did not get a chance to try the fried pickle. We brought some things home because we were tired of fighting the "million flies army" that descended upon us when we sat down. This is probably a one and done for our group, but it was a fun idea!

Found this place online and had to stop by while in town, it was pretty good. I like the vibe of this place a lot, they have open outdoor seating and a family friendly vibe. The cashier was nice and she answered any questions we had. I got a creamsicle daiquiri and it was pretty good, I wish I tried a different flavor though it was a bit too sweet. My mom and sister enjoyed their drinks: michelada and margarita. The food was good, I personally liked their different fries but my family not so much. The wings were good but almost too saucy for me.. I would definitely like to go back and try everything differently!

You haven't been to The Thirsty Chicken in Leander yet--what are you waiting for?! This place is a hidden gem. The wings are absolutely fire--crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. I tried the Garlic Parmesan and the Hot Cheeto Chick (yes, Hot Cheeto!), and both were insanely good. The fries were perfectly seasoned, and the fried pickles? Chef's kiss. But the real star of the show? The daiquiris. They have SO many flavors, it's almost impossible to pick just one. I went with the strawberry mango and it was the perfect mix of sweet and refreshing. Also loved the chill, laid-back vibe--GREAT music, fun crowd, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Shout out to lady boss! Hit me up! Whether you're coming for the wings, the drinks, or the good vibes, this spot delivers. Definitely coming back! Highly recommend!!

Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 8/10 Food: 10/10 I was really impressed with how clean the bathrooms were and the restaurant as a whole. The customer service was great!!! Each employee was very friendly and welcoming. We made it an hour before closing and our food was made fresh and was very delicious. I like my wings fried hard and these were perfect. I only wish there were some inside seating due to it being particularly cold this evening. The space heater outside did help some with the chill. We also appreciate the employee coming to change the channel to the football game. I'd def come back here more so during the warmer temperatures or order to go. This is prob some of the best chicken I've had in the ATX area.

Came here to pick up some wings and I thought they were pretty good!! I got the spicy garlic parm, the Asian one, and the hot Cheeto one. I liked all the flavors a lot they were all seasoned really well and so flavorful!! The only thing was I wish there was more sauce on the first two flavors. Also I'm not sure if this was just bc I did takeout but the chicken was a little dry, I would've liked them to be juicier. The fries and fried pickle were so yummy too!! The wings came out pretty quickly too esp considering they are made to order!!

Dry, chewy, overly salty chicken, extra long wait, dirty place. Daiquiris taste like rubbing alcohol poured over melted popsicles.. gross.

It took 1.5 hrs to make something like greasy chicken and soggy fries in a paper basket. I won't eat there again.

Pretty solid little chicken spot, downfall is the wait times and ticket times on a busy night.

Hello. Yes, pets are allowed at The Thirsty Chicken. We have 5 picnic tables that they usually gravitate to as they provide more leg room :)

It's definitely a neighborhood bar, but with a slightly elevated vibe that makes you feel like you stumbled into the nice version of a local hangout, not the sticky‑floor kind. I ordered three rounds of Hendrick's and tonic, and my partner went with four rounds of Tito's and Sprite. When the bill came out to $140, I had to take a quiet moment with myself. Yes, Hendrick's is top shelf, but even with that in mind... whew. That total felt a little ambitious for a neighborhood bar in Cedar Park. I'm all for a good cocktail, but I also know what these pours cost elsewhere, and this pricing didn't quite match the setting. That said, the service was excellent. Our bartender was attentive, quick, and had that perfect balance of friendly without being overly chatty. She kept an eye on the bar, and we never had to wait long for a refill -- which I appreciated, especially since the place wasn't packed. Honestly, the smooth service was the highlight of the night. The vibe itself is cool -- a little eclectic, a little upscale, and clearly a favorite for the local crowd. It's the kind of place you go when you want to unwind without dealing with the Domain crowd or the chaos of downtown Austin. I can absolutely see why people love it. But between the drink prices and the overall experience, this is one of those spots I'd visit occasionally, not regularly. A cute neighborhood bar? Yes. A $140‑for‑seven‑drinks bar? Not for me.

Clearly, not at all, because the place was packed. Either at capacity or about to go over. We secured a little standing spot at the bar and enjoyed our little brews. As we looked up at the TV, the original Leprechaun movie was playing. The staff were very friendly and moving around at the speed of light to get everyone their green dyed beers. There was over an hour wait for food due to how obviously busy a bar is on International Wear Green and Drink Beer Day, which didn't concern us because we had already eaten. For everyone else, sucks to be them. Our Guinnesses were good, and I really have no complaints. The location is quite narrow, but they make the most of it. There is a ton of beers to choose from, but I only had the Guinness because, well, celebrating a commercialization of Irish culture. I went to the bar and ordered (no wait staff at the tables). I ordered the Fish-n-Chips w/ a Pearl Snap, my date had the Biggy BBQ Mac Burger with a Dragon Fruit Daiquiri. For the positives: our drinks were very good, hard to mess up a draught beer, but it was not flat & just cold enough. She absolutely loved the daiquiri, side note- she's with me so standards aren't super high. Bar staff were super helpful and attentive, patio was very chill and secluded from the other spots surrounding it. The bathroom was clean and didn't smell like vomit. Negatives: My fish and chips were below expectations. Their grease was entirely too hot and it was flash fried causing the batter to be too crispy and the fish was piping hot. The selection of cod was not good either most of the pieces were blackened meat and the chips were crinkle cut fries, a letdown. I wasn't expecting a London level plate but it was a very sad and lonely one. Her burger was loaded with BBQ sauce and her mac-n-cheese balls were fried similarly causing the same burnt batter. It wasn't the worst meal I've had at a chain beer joint, looking at you Fox and Hound, but it wasn't close to the best. The Flying Saucer has a very good bar style fish and chips plate that costs about the same but they pay attention to the details that make it better. Overall I would not recommend and I will not be going back but in a pinch it won't make you sick.
