Christine helped turn my life back around and get me back on track and I continue to see her for "maintenance" appointments every 2-3 weeks to ensure I keep on top of both the mental and physical side of my health. I wouldn't have got through my loss and got back to where I am now without Christine's help and I can't recommend her highly enough. I was surprised to hear how acupuncture can help with the mental and emotional side of health as well as the physical and am so pleased our paths crossed. Christine is a very understanding lady who holds what you share with her in the highest confidentiality. Her calm and gentle manner make for a while round great treatment experience.

Housed in one of Tamworth's oldest surviving buildings, dating from the 1200s, The Cottage is a not-for-profit co-operative of therapists and volunteers. It's located very near Tamworth town centre, just behind Caroline Jane Bridal. The therapies offered very depending upon the therapists practicing there, but on a regular basis, they offer Reiki, Hypnotherapy (approved by the British Medical Association for all sorts of ailments!), Counseling and Couple's Counseling, Hopi Ear Handles, Swedish and Thai massage, and Chakra charting. There is also usually a sports therapist or chiropractor on board. The therapists are all very friendly, soothing and some of them are even quite normal, despite having an interest in things that remain a mystery to the rest of us! The building is really gorgeous, retaining most of the original architecture from its first period. Parking isn't brilliant, so when you first go in, expect to maneuver in interesting manners - and that's even before you get inside, ba DUM sss! There is a shop in the front, selling all sorts of crystals, meditative guides, gifts and really unique home decor, jewelry and makeup. Some of the pieces of jewelry I get complimented on the most have come from The Cottage. It's a great place that adds a spice of life, and hey, if you need a massage, why not get it for cheaper than the going rate from a qualified therapist, and benefit a group of people that make the world a better place?
