what a shame, I have read a lot of good things about this place. I left a deposit of 50, they didn't tell me anything the day I did it. I couldn't come to the appt or couldn't call and they won't give me the money back. They didn't even ask for my number. Unprofessional, bad attitude. I was trying to explain that I had to start a laser treatment on the area and they were very rude. Coming from Ny I have to say I didn't expect that here they had this attitude like waiting for rock stars. I left speechless. Even if the work is good they have to learn how to treat customers, or do I have to say this place is just for Italians? read more

This is a great shop. Daniele is friendly and organized. The shop is clean, and Daniele is very helpful. He spent time creating our tattoo and then discussing its placement with us. While I can speak Italian, my niece cannot. He speaks English well enough to maintain a conversation. I would highly recommend getting a tattoo here. read more

I went back to the Tattoo Shop for the 3rd time this weekend and definitely won't ever go anywhere else! High quality work carried out by super professional staff. Plus there's just a really pleasant, relaxed environment. English is not a problem either! read more

Il "The Tattoo Shop" di via Torricelli, primo negozio di tatuaggi su strada a Milano, nasce nel 1985 grazie all'iniziativa di Daniele Carlotti, rappresentante della vecchia scuola, in tempi in cui il tatuaggio era ancora legato all'immaginario di sottoculture come bikers, punks, skins. Inizia il suo apprendistato con Gianmaurizio Fercioni per poi viaggiare in giro per l'Europa alla ricerca di materiale e di nozioni tecniche. Ad Amsterdam diventa cliente affezionato di Hanky Panky al quale si ispira per creare il proprio stile: linea solida e sfumature nere. Nel corso degli anni ha continuato a viaggiare per ampliare le proprie conoscenze riguardo il mondo del tatuaggio, mantenendo vivo al tempo stesso il negozio di Milano collaborando con vari apprendisti e ospiti internazionali quali Leo Zulueta, Paulo Sul'uape, Mr.Cartoon, Tony Angujano, Chio PQD, Pepe tattooing, Beo di Lucca e altri.
