Anna is excellent. I have a super busy schedule but she has always been able to fit me in. I LOVE that about Tan Cabana. After having used several products (i.e. St. Tropez, Fake Bake etc) I was convinced that manufactured tans were not for me. However the color that I receive from Anna is the same color that I receive from a few days at the beach. It's amazing. Not to mention that your skin doesn't dry out like it does when you lay out or spend 15 minutes in the tanning bed. It's worth every penny to save my skin and still get great color! read more

Unfortunately my spray tan was so bad I had to go get another one somewhere else DIRECTLY after. That's the short version.... I was getting a spray tan for a huge performance event (and she knew this) but the tan hardly made me look any different and when I asked about that she replied, "well maybe if you got the rapid, but you got the classic" (I was never met with options) I then asked if it would get any darker she was responded "usually yeah but probably not, because of the body wash you use" The spray tan was splotchy from the get-go. She didn't go over me twice. She definitely missed some spots. I wasn't even dry when she told me I was good to get dressed again. She didn't walk me through any tips on the do's and dont's of spray tans. I had to pull teeth to even figure out how long until I could shower. SO CLEARLY AN UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER, but was still met with disdain, like my opinion was nothing to her anyway. So bizarre. I've never had a job in my life where I cared this little about a customers opinion of my service. Especially since I'm pretty sure it's her own salon. read more

I'm very upset with my service as I got a spray tan and two days later it's already very splotchy. I've gotten lots of spray tans at places and this by far the lowest quality and service I've received for $75. read more

I found The Tan Cabana through Instagram, I had been following for several months and finally decided to get spray tanned because Yelp Spring Break was right around the corner... ;) I called and was able to schedule an appointment for the following day (score)! Anna, the owner scheduled me and she was super sweet! She reminded me to come to my appointment shaved, showered, exfoliated and not to apply any lotions, creams or oils prior to arriving. The importance of this for those of you who haven't been spray tanned is that, any products on the skin can act as a barrier and block the spray tan from fully absorbing which can make for an uneven, or slower lasting tan. She also informed me to wear dark loose fitting clothing (some of the product can rub off after your tan). The location is off of 3rd Street and super convenient if you're in the Jacksonville Beach or Ponte Vedra Beach area. The individual room is within a building that also has esthetic services (facials, microdermabrasions, waxing etc) and hair stylists. Very female friendly! Upon arrival I was greeted with a warm welcome from Anna, the owner and operator. She inquired how dark/deep I wanted my tan to be and when we agreed on a deeper shade she informed me to undress to my comfort level. You can bring a bathing suit or underwear (the color black recommended) or you can get sprayed without anything on, (no tan lines if you choose this). The tan itself felt more like air then an actual spray of mist which I liked. Anna was extremely professional, quick and efficient. She talked me through each step and I was in and out in no time! It has been 2 weeks since my spray tan and I still have a hint of color which is incredible! I followed all of the post tan instructions which included patting myself dry after taking a shower and moisturizing twice a day. My tan has held up great! I can't wait to go back! Thank you Anna! read more

Went to get a spray tan before a 5 day vacation in the Florida keys. I was in the ocean and pool every day! Considering the heat in Florida, I was sweating most of the day and lathering in sun screen also! I even took showers at the end of every day and my tan stayed on and kept me confident the entire trip! This was an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone! read more

The best and quickest spray tan in Jax you can find! My favorite is the rapid because it dries fast and looks so natural and fades like a natural tan does no splotchiness read more

The BEST spray tan in Jax, hands down! Anna is so professional and kind, plus she takes the time to answer all of your questions before getting sprayed. She gave me the most natural looking, streak-free spray tan I've ever had - I'll definitely be back!! read more

I was never able to go because of issues with this merchant. I think it's a little shady that if you buy a groupon(for $28.00 for a spray tan) that you can only book the appointment online and with a credit card even though you already paid. She has her phone number to call and text on the website but would not return my text or return my calls. Thankfully groupon refunded my money when I showed them proof of this. She may give a good spray tan but her business practices are shady and I won't attempt to go to her again. read more

Loved my spray tan!!! Even sent a friend there this past week to get one for her sons wedding.

I wanted a little color for an event I was going to but had never had a spray tan before so I didn't know where to turn. I went to The Tan Cabana after seeing the reviews on Yelp. Having never had spray tan before so I was a little unsure about the process. Anna walked me through it and made me feel really comfortable. It was super quick and the tan was just the right shade. I went to work straight after the session and had no problems with blotchiness or streaking which I was nervous about. The color stayed for the amount of time I needed and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely be back for future events! Also, there was a glitch in the online scheduling system and I scheduled myself outside of business hours. Anna caught the mistake and quickly called me. She even offered to accommodate me just before opening, if I couldn't come in during normal hours which I really appreciated! read more

My experience with Anna was amazing. She is such a sweet and compassionate person and her professionalism is top notch. The product she used is absolutely wonderful, and leaves little to no sticky film. My skin feels great and I don't smell like harsh chemicals. The color is developing beautifully. I will have no issues traveling from the WS to the Beaches to see Anna and have the pleasure of receiving great customer services and a beautiful tan :). Thanks again Anna read more

The Tan Cabana is a perfect place to get a spray tan--the owner, Anna, is very approachable and makes you feel comfortable in a situation that might not be the *most* comfortable (stripping down to a bathing suit, underwear, or in the nude for your tan). That, to me, is one of the most important things when I receive an airbrush spray tan--I've been to ones with the machines, and they were very cold, stark, and unpleasant. With Anna, I know that I'm not only getting a tan that's been adjusted to exactly my needs and desired level of darkness, but that it will be even and I will like naturally bronzed--no oompa loompa orange, and no dark elbows, weird streaks or off-putting smell (all things I've experienced with self-tanner or the automated spray tan machines). Her products are all-natural, which I love, and she is very knowledgeable about skin types, application processes, and how to ensure that her clients get the MOST out of their tans (no oily products beforehand, shaving the day before, no Dove products due to a residue, etc.). You DON'T get such personalized service from a machine, and you definitely don't get an all-natural bronze glow with zero skin damage from a tanning bed/outside. In my opinion, I'd much rather get an immediately gorgeous tan in fifteen minutes when I need a pick-me-up or for an event, instead of running the risk of wrinkles and skin cancer. NO thank you! Anna's facility is beautiful, beachy and chic. I felt at home, if my home were decorated like Crate & Barrel. :) Anna even has a wine chiller and gives her clients complimentary drinks if asked. How awesome is that? She's also a great advertisement for her products--Anna is gorgeous and healthy, obviously taking great care of herself and skin, and she has that warm, approachable nature you crave in an aesthetician, ESPECIALLY one seeing you in your skivvies. Five stars--check out The Tan Cabana, your skin will thank you! read more

Anna at The Tan Cabana knows that when it comes to tanning orange is NOT the new black! Out of the many, somewhat tragic times I have attempted spray tans this has been by far the best experience I've had yet. Natural looking and streak free tans do exist! read more

I went and had my first spray tan by Anna I was going on vacation and needed a tan. The tan went great she made me feel at ease and explained everything. It looked great after the problems started the next day when I showered. I waited almost 24 hours to shower and but the tan washed right off. I only had a tiny bit of color left by the next day it was completely gone!!!! So beyond disappointed!!!! read more

Anna + The Tan Cabana are hands down the best in Jax! I've been a client forever and just can't say enough good things about them!! All my tans have been sooo beautiful, you won't be disappointed choosing this trendy salon for all your tanning needs read more

I have had spray tans done in expensive (over-priced) salons in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami...and I can honestly say that Anna is the absolute best in the business. Additionally, The Tan Cabana uses the top tanning product in the industry, Infinity Sun. Long story short: Step 1: make your appointment. Step 2: ASK ANNA TO CHOOSE THE SHADE SHE THINKS WILL LOOK BEST ON YOU. Step 3: Prepare to be amazed. Infinity Sun is an all-natural, anti-aging sunless tanner made with antioxidants and pure botanicals...more importantly, it's the most natural looking tan you can possibly get. Infinity Sun is also the gold standard in Hollywood when it comes to what celebrities use before events or photoshoots (both men and women). But what makes The Tan Cabana so special is Anna's technique. I needed some last minute color before a shoot I was doing the next day, and my agency referred me to Anna. I had never had a spray tan before, but she made it really comfortable for me. I was always told spray tans smell terrible, but this product really has no smell at all! I think what makes Anna so special is that she REALLY knows how to really contour a tan in a way that makes your body look 10 times better than before. Since I'm a guy, she accentuated things like abs and muscle tone. However she also takes into account your natural skin-tone (which is really important). When Anna gave my girlfriend her first spray tan last week, she made sure not to go too dark since my girlfriend is very pale...let's just say now my girlfriend is officially addicted haha. I cannot recommend Anna and the Tan Cabana enough! Go there once, and you'll be hooked. -Ryan Rami read more

I received s spray tan package from my children for an early Mother's Day gift. I have to admit I was hesitant however as all the other reviews indicate Ana is great she reviews everything with you the process what to expect and offers her contact info if any questions later truly above and beyond customer experience. I have gone twice and loved both tan experiences and looked beautifully tan when I left. My tans lasted 6-7 days. TY Ana!! read more

Anna provided a fantastic spray tan at The Tan Cabana! I have very fair skin and am always worried about the end results looking orange or streaky. Neither occurred! Her tanning environment is absolutely comfortable and welcoming. Was able to book online, last minute and late evening. She has very accommodating hours. I loved that the spray tan dried instantly and wasn't dripping. Definitely recommended and I will be going back!! Thanks Anna! read more

Anna rocks. My tans are always natural looking, dry quickly, and are very even. She's the best around hands down.

I want to thank Anna so much for getting me in last minute. I had an appointment elsewhere that cancelled on me hours before I was scheduled. True tan emergency, as I was leaving for vacation the next day! Anna saved the day. I've tanned elsewhere, but have never gotten such a naturally deep color. The product Tan Cabana uses has no odor, and dries quickly. The atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable, and they were very prompt in getting me in and out. Super convenient and enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended the Tan Cabana! read more

I went to the Tan Cabana the day before my baby shower and couldn't be more happy with my results. Anna didn't an amazing job and although I'm 7 months pregnant, she didn't make me feel uncomfortable. She was awesome! It was very fast yet precise and not streaky. Another added bonus is their formula is organic and doesn't smell! I would definitely recommend them for your future spray tanning needs. And be sure to ask for Anna! read more
