Walking past these old building relics is not quite Pompeii, but it is wonderful to see these old architectural stone pieces from historic buildings that have been pulled down to make way for a modern and progressive city skyline. The various pieces of architectural cornice, columns, quoins and building crests are displayed in the most unusual outdoor scattering.
The ruins are located in the park near the gates leading into the Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens and they rest above the Sydney Harbour Tunnel.
