Took two Move bumpers in to be welded. Front bumper is crooked and bending into the truck. They also melted the light covers. The back bumper isn't crooked, however, they did not drill the hole so the spare tire can be lowered. Also they did not drill the holes for the license plate lights, so currently I cannot drive this truck at night, as I would be illegal. I have to go to another fabricator to have the front bumper straightened and the back bumper drilled for lights and spare tire drop hole. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. Very sloppy and made excuses and didn't offer to correct issues. I didn't push it because I didn't feel this shop had the expertise to correct the mess they had created. Very disappointed. read more

I contacted the Stripping Shop prior to using their service to explain what I was in need of and obtain a price quote. I own a 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe and needed the exterior and underside stripped down to the metal. The price the owner quoted me was a range of $300 - $600 depending on how much paint and bondo needed removal. I agreed to the quote and brought them my car. I received a call the next week letting me know the car was done and was told the price was $900. Extremely upset about the substantially higher price, I spoke with the owner and asked for an explanation. I was NOT contacted ahead of time to discuss the higher cost. The owner said he was busy and did not want to take the time to call me to let me know the car would take more time to complete than initially anticipated. I did not understand the need for additional time as he told me he was surpised that there was very little bondo on the car. He told me the underside had gunk on it and that took more time to remove. He would not discount the price nor offer any concessions. I went ahead and reluctantly paid the full price even though this was well outside the quoted price. When a company quotes a price to a customer and then charges 50% higher than that quote, without so much as a courtesy call, then I have a real problem with that business and will NEVER use them again. All this because "he did not have time to call me and talk about it." I recommend any potential customers go elsewhere for their sandblasting/stripping needs. read more
