I highly suggest making an online appointment in advance because they seem to be booked up quite a bit. The facility is on the west side on the way to Burdette Park and is decorated in a cool old school barbershop theme. It does not bother me but if you are sensitive to language at times curse words are used, especially if they are discussing sports. Doesn't bother me at all, but for some it might. I can't even give the Parlour one star. This was not only the worst hair cut that I have ever…read moregotten but it was one of the worst experiences I have had. I should have known that something was wrong when the barber, and I am being generous, did not know which chair was his. The barber was having trouble deciding where to begin. Once he got going everything seemed good and then the manager came by and started making suggestions. This turned into cutting the sides really short and cutting almost all my hair off the top. They finally had to have a lady barber come and straighten out my hair. They cut back my eyebrows to the point where they might as well have shaved them off. I finally got out of there and luckily brought a hat to cover up the debautchery of a haircut.

I would really like to give this barbershop five stars. The technical expertise that the barber has…read moreis actually quite excellent. However, the total lack of customer service and professionalism really takes away from the actual haircut. I gave this place two chances to not only cut my hair and trim my beard the way I have requested but also to do it in a timely manner. Both times that I went the barber, who is also the owner, had his five year old and three year old in the shop. The children ran around distracting him from taking care of his customers and continually kept trying to run out the front door into the parking lot. Both times I went there to get a haircut and beard trim it took almost an hour and a half to do a high fade and a beard trim. Both times that I went to get a haircut I also asked for a straight razor shave on the side of my head below the fade. And both times, I did not receive it. Instead, the barber spent well over 30 minutes and what seemed like every pair of clippers in the store to slowly cut my hair down to the skin. What could've been accomplished in 45 minutes or less took an hour and 20 minutes instead. I believe that the barber could do a excellent job however until he is able to get a business where he does not also have to babysit and starts listening to his customers better I will not be returning.
