Now, me and our party of 4 were on the hound for a burger joint, and many of the really good (looking) ones had an expected wait of up to an hour..which is when we wandered passed Bad Boys BBQ, and decided to settle for it. The place is fairly cramped and it doesn't really have the most inviting decor. It was kind of a cross between a McDonalds and a food stop at Shopping Centre food court in terms of it's size and layout. All the tables and chairs are very "wipe-clean-able" (we ended up sitting on the high chairs at the back anyways), and it is all squashed to the left once you get passed the entrance. In terms of the food...I had a beefburger, and the other's had a pulled pork sanger, and the other just had chips (she doesn't eat meat, and there were no veggie or fish burgers on offer). Now, i will say this....the mince of the burger actually tasted very lean and of a high quality, and the burger was fairly big.....but it's McDonald's style french fries instead of proper fat chips. Overall, the food is good-ish, the staff are hard-working but not memorably charming, and the decor is very "eat and go". Nothing special.

Wings were out of this world delicious, mama cass were my favourite, can't wait to try them again. Also had the rack of rips, fall of the bone tender, my partner had the sticky bbq chicken which was cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. A friend at the table got the T-bone steak, she sucked the bones clean it was so good. I can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu. Great location in the city, fantastic atmosphere, with incredibly friendly staff, I also had an opportunity to talk to Frankie, the man in charge, awesome guy, very hands on with the operation of the restaurant which I love to see. I'm very excited that this place has opened and is here to stay.

I was interested to see what was considered American food in Ireland. I ordered a burger and fries and I was very pleased. I did not try the wings but they also looked good. I found it interesting that burgers and wings are gourmet American food in Ireland. Overall, this is a great place for both and also a great place for a quick lunch.

After being on a cruise ship for 14 days, I needed my BBQ fix, so naturally we visited a BBQ joint the first night off the ship. This gem of a restaurant with a modern, industrial feel is tucked away from the main street and offers a variety of meat like you would find in the US. For our dinner, we chose to share the BBQ Blow Out, a tray of Brisket Burnt Ends, Baby Back Ribs, Smoked Chicken, Pulled Pork and sides of cornbread, cob wheels (corn on the corn), slaw, beans, and fries. As a Kansas City BBQ judge, I have had the opportunity to taste all kinds of BBQ cooked many different ways, and this restaurant didn't disappoint. The star of this feast was the brisket. Cooked perfectly, smoky, tender, and some of the best brisket I have ever had. The rest of the meats were great, too. Moist chicken, "fall off the bone" ribs, and flavorable pork. The sides were equally good with the cob wheels being my favorite. Dora here. What a treat to try BBQ in a different country! We were amazed to find this place just up the street from our hotel, tucked midway along a narrow alley. The Blow Out tray provided more than enough food for both of us with some left over. The chicken won me over, and the pork came in a close second. What surprised me was the amount of sauce on the meats. I liked the sweet, not-so-vinegary sauce, but would've preferred to dip my meat, rather than swimming in it. I ate every bite of that tangy apple slaw, and, thankfully, Ernie didn't ask me to share. :) ~Ernie & Dora Hiers, Fiction Faith & Foodies Blog
