The Source is a great resource in downtown Toledo. They offer educational and employment assistance. The staff is ready and willing to help. As an employer, I felt welcomed and could see that they cared for their consumers. The parking lot is completely inaccessible to anyone with a disability until further notice because you cannot park close to the building since they are doing work on the parking lot. However, there are some vehicles that are allowed to be parked in the parking lot, just not for individuals who are handicapped. Completely discriminatory against the disabled and handicapped population. I watched the Deputy Sheriff, Toni Jackson, force a handicapped man with a rolling walker to walk himself to the TARPS bus instead of offering to push him since she was too busy on her personal cell phone. To offer the services that they do here, this place is truly a disappointment. The county should relocate it to a more accessible location and maybe hire more considerate staff.
