TERRIBLE!!!!!! If I could give negative stars I would! The so called "custom sleep plan" is nothing more than a 4 page generic copy from a book that the "sleep expert" replaces the name Jackie for your child's name. I am a new mom who had a baby that just would not sleep. She was up 4-5 times a nights and very fussy. I was sleep deprived, hormonal and desperate for a good night sleep. Despite my friends and family who gave me far better free advice. I though I needed an "expert", so I consulted with the "Sleep Nest". I paid in full up front, over $230. The cost was broken down to me as follows: 1 hr initial consult. Customized sleep plan. Email & text support through the process. Phone call follow ups. I was going to be traveling and asked to start the program when I returned so we could start the sleep training in her own bed. We both agreed. Miraculously on vacation my baby for the first time ever sleep through the night! I was overjoyed! I contacted Karoline, the consultant and founder of Sleep Nest to share the good news, that without intervention she slept beautifully. I then requested at least partial payment back. Karoline refused any reimbursement and insisted she provided full service. After months of back and fourth emails she finally agreed partial reimbursement. I was pleased that she came to her senses and wanted to do good business. The following week when I opened my pay pal account $20 was all that was reimbursed!!!!! To me a generic sleep plan in a manila folder is not worth more that 80% of what I payed. I am completely disgusted by the way this woman does business. She took advantage of me at my most vulnerable time and has no remorse! This is my very first YELP review and I'm writing it to WARN other Mothers out there who are looking for a good night sleep NOT to use "Sleep Nest". read more

Karoline helped us sleep train our 2 year old son that had a sleep regression. After 6 months of sleepless nights I called Karoline and she came up with a custom plan for us. She held our hands through the whole thing. This wasn't like other "sleep trainers" I looked into that just give you a manual and you're on your own. We have 18 months twins we started the training with Karoline at 9 months, It's the best decision we ever made with awesome results in less than three weeks. They sleep 12 hours thru the night and they also sleep great naps. I didn't know what exactly to expect from a sleep consultant but I found Karoline's advice and tailored plan extremely useful for us. Sure you can try and "do it yourself" and read a bunch of books and join online forums and discussions; but the greatest advantage of having a consultant is that the person lays it all down for you and makes the process easy to follow and is there for support and follow up. read more

Karoline at The Sleep Nest was a lifesaver for us! We had 8 month old twins and they were not sleeping. Each were on their own schedule and woke up at different times at night. This was just exhausting for our family. Karoline put us on a schedule and it took two weeks to train them. It was the hardest thing we have done but the BEST decision I've ever made. Words can't even express how thankful I am for Karoline and the sleep nest! I was struggling keeping my sanity with my 3 year old that refused to first of all fall asleep on her own without having me there for an hour, and second for actually staying asleep in her own room! As a working single mom it was important for me to have the 2-3 hours after bed time for myself to unwind, clean up or even just work out! But it was impossible with my 3 year old waking every hour on the hour and crying hysterically until i would give in and let her sleep with me. After working with Karoline she explained to me the entire process in such a sweet and understanding manner that I trusted her completely from the beginning. She always makes sure you are comfortable and ready to start the training. The first night was a lot of crying and waking just like karoline told me it would be but i stuck the customized plan she wrote me and surely enough by day 2 my three year old had slept 6 hours without waking and minimal crying from her part to fall asleep. Now, 3 weeks into the training it has been a miracle! She knows bed time is in her bed and I just tuck her in say goodnight and she stays without crying or fighting it at all! Best part? She sleeps all night and even if she wakes to use the restroom she goes right back to her bed and falls asleep on her own! I wish I called Karoline sooner!!! Such a life savor! I was a frustrated, tired, new mother to a baby who had colic in his first months of life. After the colic got better, I could not get my child to sleep through the night, or go to bed without crying for at least an hour. I was miserable. I looked into online forums and discussion boards and read articles on sleep training and I wouldnt see results. I was always second guessing my approach. After my initial consult with Karoline, a sense of peace and comfort came over me. I felt hopeful that my child and I would both finally be happy. Having Karoline as our sleep trainer was the best decision me and my husband made, she is an amazing and sweet person. She helped us set a schedule for our twins and now they are sleeping almost 11 to 12 hours at nights. They used to wake up few times at nights to be fed and rocked back to sleep. My husband and I have twin girls and around 6 months, we desperately needed sleep training help. We read books on sleep training but it's entirely different when you're trying to do it and have no one to ask. Before working with Karoline, our girls got up 3 times a night. At the 6 month mark, we worked with her and 3 nights in, the girls slept through the night! (We worked remotely with Karoline since we're not based in Nevada.) Their naps have improved greatly. We were able to wean them off the pacifier. We didn't have to rock them to sleep any more. While some parents we know did sleep training without a consultant, we really liked working with Karoline at The Sleep Nest because we could ask questions as we were going through the process, and even after training. Sleep training isn't easy, though I'm a believer in it now because my girls consistently sleep through the night and have regular 1-2 hour naps now. I contacted Karoline desperate for help. My then 10 month old son would wake up every hour and his naps were only in his swing. I had a 23 month old and 3 month old twins. So you can imagine how important sleep was in our house. I was able to train my older son without any problems so I expected the same with the twins. By the time they were 2 months, I had made every mistake in the book creating horrible sleep habits for the twins. And even then, they weren't sleeping well. At night, they both woke up every single hour and during the day, they would only nap for half an hour after all the rocking, swinging, carrying, pacifier, etc. I was quickly drowning and had no solutions to work my way back to normalcy. I called The Sleep Nest when the twins were 3 months old. Karoline came up with a customized plan for both of them and WITHIN DAYS I had noticed a difference. They were falling asleep without my help gaining me hours in my day. They were napping longer allowing me time to spend with my toddler. I was a first-time Mom and my 4 month old boy did not like to sleep. We had to rock him for an hour before he would fall asleep. And he refused to sleep in the crib. He would only sleep in the swing or a rocker chair, which he was quickly outgrowing. He would also wake up many times in the night. Having The Sleep Nest help me was the best investment for my family. During the so called 4 month sleep regression my son was up every hour and he would not comfortably sleep in my arms or even in my bed, he wanted to sleep in his bed but with me in it.
